Yes forgot that that little experiment with Grey. I'm sure he tried it with Mahrez too at one point?

We needed to increase the intensiteeee.

To have Mahrez on the right wing again. Quiet all game then randomly in the 90th minute curl in a screamer from 40yards.

don't remember it with mahrez but definitely with gray. seem to remember the argument being that it worked for Henry so why not try it, but there's a reason the prime example of a winger converting to a forward is 2 decades old

I’ve got a feeling it will be one of those games - like Man City at home and Liverpool away - where we actually play quite well and put together some decent spells of play, but ultimately come away with nothing. Arteta will praise us after the game and some pundits will remark that if we carry on playing like that we’ll be alright….

Then we play Brentford at home and get battered after a shocking display from us.

Justin Faes Okoli Kristiansen

BDCR.       Bilal.       Mavididi

Don't see Mavs starting but we desperately need some pace and trickery out wide.

Putting our tickets on resale again for this one. Can't face another 230 mile round trip to see Arsenal stroll to an easy win whilst Ruud employs exactly the same approach that has led to 8 defeats in 9. Fear that I'm losing my love for the club. Even my boys are not bothered for this one as they think it will be a certain defeat anyway. Sad times.

This fixture 2 years ago around the same time of the year was one of the worst games I have ever watched. My daughter said "i'm not sure if I want to go to games again if they are like that"

Adopting the insanity principal - we need to try something different.

For me that involves having some physical competitiveness across the pitch:

Woyo reminds me of a shit Wan Bissaka, Okoli of a shit Calvin Bassey - so hopefully a bit more competitiveness from them will enable us to get outpaced, outlept etc in defence as much. I hate to see Faes on the team sheet, but Coady and Vestergaard are so slow if you shot them in slow mo mode on a mobile you would never get to the end of the video. and this has been scientifically checked btw.

It's a toss between Justin and McAteer for me on the RWB slot.

Ndidi and Soumare are our most competitive and progressive two in midfield. We look a different proposition vs Man Yoo when they were on the field.

Thomas looked better than Kristiansen has all season when he played the other night so deserves a shot.

Ayew and BDCR have a high floor but a low ceiling. We have to have the bollocks to play Bilal and Buona as inside left and right, feeding Vardy.

If Vard is fit he is our man for 60mins. With Dake or Ayew to come on after.

I'd have Monga and one or two of the other yound lads on the bench as we need a bit of something different. Skipp sitting there is doing no one any favours and Coady can go and sit on wolves bench if he is just here for the bants.

That all said Leicester 1 - Arsenal 4

Hermansen

Woyo Okoli Faes

Justin Ndidi Soumare Thomas

Bilal Buona

Vardy

Hospitality prices v other premier league clubs are a joke, we have got hospitality tickets for Villa park where similar with the food pre match, you get a gift and two drinks tokens, half time tea/coffee/cake and works out about £200pp, BUT you get CL home games thrown in there as well as all league cup and fa cup home games for free. So around 10-15 extra games a season potentially.

Another reason this club is an absolute joke

Not sure we should continue with VK, Faes and Justin. How many bombscare risks do we want to continue to carry? Would go:

Woyo  Coady  Okoli  Thomas

I’d go with Woyo, Faes, Okoli, VK.

We know Thomas and Coady aren’t any better, Woyo should get a chance because why else did we sign him and JJ has been poor this season.

I’m fed up of Faes but I still think I’d rather have him in than Coady.

What awful value for money, who would pay £294 for a few chicken sliders at welford road then a general admission ticket.

Need your head checking

Yes it was dire. We had 1 tame off target shot in the whole game and 'achieved' the lowest xG ever, I think. After Arsenal scored just after half time, they basically killed the game such that the ball was hardly in play for the last 40 minutes.

Yeah I remember the ball hardly staying in play for ten seconds, it was awful

Martinelli was the worst one for pretending to be injured.

The priest was even called to read him his last rites and then lo and behold he made a miracle recovery to score a disallowed goal moments later.

Arsenal were utterly embarrassing that day with their tactics.

Glad I’m missing it this weekend tbh

I Watched this back just now and what a team of battlers, hard workers and grit we had in that team. All pulling together and playing for each other. They were a team.

I can't remember the last time I saw such togetherness on and off the pitch in a team, management respect, fans and board. Now, we have a bunch of moaning minnies and mentally weak players, a board out of touch and a highly frustrated fan base with a manager that hasn't got his people throughout the club. Now, I expect a loss and drab performance with hardly any emotion.

This shows it isn't just talent, tactics etc... it mentality that makes a successful team. We showed that season we were up for the fight and we were proud of the team. This team would have taken it to Arsenal and made damn sure they were in a game.

Alas we are not now. Football has died over the last 10 years very slowly.

How the mighty have fallen.
