One CF in entire squad, great squad management.ย  :teehee:

18/27 defensive players.

Rudkin masterclass, sure the review by himself will conclude heโ€™s doing a cracking job.

ย

to be honest on this season alone the levels of complete incompetence are astounding, like why the ****โ€ฆEduoard, honestly?!?

Southampton (with Rohl?), Ipswich both in better shape than us. Then there's whoever loses the playoffs. Plus the Wrexham wildcard.ย

ย

Autos will be very difficult I feel, since we either need to appoint a good manager, or we will (god forbid) still have RVN. Nevermind the total lack of CF at the club and the big overhaul required (which itself will be conducted by our woeful recruitment system...)

Birmingham will come up and spend a mint as well.ย
ย

The reality of the situation is, weโ€™ve completely imploded at the wrong timeโ€ฆโ€ฆ weโ€™re going to end up unable to compete with the likes of Birmingham and Wrexham.ย

King power really, really needs to do somethingโ€ฆโ€ฆ.ย

Pretty sure many said autos will be very difficult before 23/24 season too and we pretty much steam-rolled the division.ย

ย

Granted there are many more cons than pros right now, but I don't think it'll be as bad as some make out.ย

ย

Just need to get recruitment right this summer (lol) both in terms of manager and players.ย

This time we have

ย

no centre forward

lower parachute payments

less transfer fees to reinvest

far more teams challengingย

And to top all that, the threat of the EFL setting fire to us and using as a bright shiny beacon of what happens when your lawyers take the yellow stuff.

ย

But yeah, definitely not as bad as its made out to be ๐Ÿ˜‘

I donโ€™t think people realise just how far off Birmingham and Wrexhamโ€™s first team squad is off of ours in terms of ability. Theyโ€™ll both do well to be pushing play-offs next season.ย

I don't really think predictions like this can be said with any kind of confidence until everyone's summer business is done.. I expect us, Birmingham and Wrexham to have very very different squads come the end of August..

One happy outcome of the Edouard saga is that as a result of being stuck with us on loan the useless fecker wonโ€™t get a cup final medal ๐Ÿคฃ

I hate to be controversial but that was a problem then as well. Felt like we pretty much went up without a striker. It was probably our least efficient position on the pitch that season.ย
ย

I think we will notice it much more , even with a half decent player coming in. We should have been scoring a lot more from open play given how many chances we createdย

Next season is obviously a new season, this season has killed us all off with how pathetic the players and the club have been, but come the first day of the season, spirits will be high and we go again COYB ๐ŸฆŠย

18 league goals in 35 league appearances, some of which would have been aa a sub. More than a goal every two games.ย

If they donโ€™t make the right decisions we could be in the championship for a few years.ย

Wow certainly didnโ€™t feel like he got that many. ย Play on thenย

For a team that still needs to secure their playoff position, Bristol City haven't half been crap. They're playing like the team already promoted and on the beach.ย

They've needed a striker for about 5 years, they might JUST stay in top 6, but they're still playing well above their means.

ย

Been far too passive tonight though.

Everyone said that about Ipswich and they finished a point behind us in the end.

ย

Momentum is a hell of a drug, and we sure as hell do not have it.

We probably need to be, it will ground the owners, directors.ย  Force them to be sensible on wages, and if only promoted after a longer spell, maybe they wont misjudge the squad next time when they thought 17th was beneath the squad quality.

ย

As a bonus it could also cause Top out of desperation to sell up.

Yeah bought 2 absolutely useless ones in the summer as well to continue on trend.

ย

Agree with all of this.

ย

Manning is so negative away from home. Only won I think 1 in their last 14 or 15 away games which is crazy.
