Fun fact. If/when we are relegated, we will be in the same league as Mansfield for the first time since 1894

https://www.11v11.com/teams/leicester-city/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/Mansfield Town/

Also first time we play Luton in nearly 20 years as they bounced up and out the prem as we went down and back up.

Unsurprisingly, will be the first time we have ever played Bromley

First time since the early 90's that we would have been in the same league as Cambridge United too...

I didn't even know Pompey were playing, that's how much I care about what happens. They won. I still don't care.

I only knew as I’m on holiday with an Ipswich fan

Ipswich have largely been sh1te all season and are second. Says everything about the state of the league this season.

They have been decent, as has a big portion of the league, we are by far the most shit team I have watched this season.  Even oxford play better than us.

I think the championship is better football than the EPL being honest.  Much more direct, I like it.

Pretty sure they were in League one, when we was in League one.

But we've already got 2 and no more money to waste.

We have one all out striker, which shows horrific squad management, a reliable goal scorer makes a massive difference, more so than any defender or midfielder.

Go back to 4-4-2 and either bring in 3 strikers, whilst keeping Daka, or sell Daka and bring in 4.

It's all so shit and so sad. I'd got to the point where I didn't really care but now it's looming in front of us it really hits home what an almighty, unnecessary, depressing waste it all is.

I try and be one of these "I don't care" but just can't feel that way. It's sad. I don't want us to be a third division club ffs, it's a disgrace.

Jeez that was probably the best performance I ever saw from us.

As an aside, Cambridge absolutely capitulated after that game. They dropped like a stone through the leagues and haven’t reached the dizzy heights of the second tier since. They’re probably enjoying our downfall more than most.

Fair play to Ipswich. Played the long game with K-Mac. We wondered why they spent 12m on him. It didn’t make any sense. Sure enough he was benched most of the season and hated by tractor boy fans.  He’s handed a start when we needed them to beat Pompey and they lost with him unsurprisingly contributing very little. Turns out he was signed to ensure our relegation, probably revenge for that over celebrating of Ayew’s last minute equaliser last season. You have to applaud a long term shithouse move by Ed Sheeran’s Ipswich Town™️

I don't buy into the "perfect chance for a reset" bollocks either. Sunderland and Derby only got back after being sold to competent owners....

I mean he started against Birmingham Easter Monday and scored.
