If they're regular starters I'm already dreading the home game v them. You know how it will go, Ward turns into Yashin for a single game and Coady scores in a 1-0 win for Wrexham.

I mean, it's Danny Effing Ward... hard to believe some other owner thought he was a good choice in net!!! Though I hope they play him all year and find their way stuck in lower level championship for a while!

That used to be us. Things change in football. They’ve only been on the upward curve under them so far - won’t be like that forever.

I guess the thing with Wrexham is that if they struggle they generate more drama and more views for their documentary so even if they do badly they still end up with more money.

 

Their worst nightmare really is to do a Bristol by staying midtable for a decade with no threat of relegation or promotion and lose all momentum on their TV show.
