Whether RVN is here or not we need to bring Harry Winks back a quality player that has been frozen out by Van Nistelrooy for some reason, his omission from the squad has been nothing short of ridiculous a player that has hot and cold days like everyone else and that we will need in the Championship!

He hates the club and didnt want to put the effort in and prepare for training properly. And just makes signs saying how much he misses Enzo. Its not 'for some reason'. Now he sips cocktails on matchday.

sheffield united surely go up next season no? I would have rather had in the champo sunderland next season ffs. Promotion looks even tougher now imo.

I think we would have done regardless.  They'd have needed someone in this summer, doubt they'd have been able to both afford to wait until January when he's back fit but also have the money at that point.

I'm glad Sheff Utd didn't get promotion on the basis that them being there makes it harder for us next season than Sunderland being there. Honestly think we need bringing back down to earth a bit and to stay down if we're going to manage the wholesale restructure we need. Going straight back up as a yo-yo club will just prolong the rot, and the global exposure of the premier League will more than likely lead to KP dragging their heels on boardroom changes (or potentially selling up).

 

Messed up that I have to think about my club in that way, but that's what the past 5 years of regression has brought us to. We need a baptism of fire.

Sheff Utd will be a bigger test for us than Sunderland would have been. Not a great result for us. 

 

Sunderland may as well start planning for their return to the Championship though, no way they stay up.
