We are a similar size I’d imagine.

The challenge we have, is that half the county follows a fairly successful

rugby club, so given the choice, I’m not so sure we fill the stadium.

We're bigger than Blackburn and Stoke. Both of which got about half our attendances when they went down. The rugby club really has no impact on us whatsoever.

When we first go down there will be exactly the same uptake in season tickets and the huge waiting list. It's if we stay down that the flask drinkers realise clinging onto their season tickets doesn't mean they'll get to see Man United the next season that we will get rid of that type of fan. I don't see it as a bad thing. People might actually stay to watch 90 minutes.

I had never missed a match until last season, now I just check the scores mostly.

this is from someone who loved Leicester so much that they worked at the filbert street kiosks just so I could go to the games as my family could not afford tickets!

I can’t believe how lost I feel with club

Don't think either Stoke or Blackburn fill theirs either......i think we were getting about 23000 in the champ when Holloway/Levein etc were in charge......and sadly i think that's the way we are going.

It has been a huge missed opportunity for the club. With the success we've had in recent years, we should be a solid premier league side around 8th-12th, but the club is rotten to the core.

From top to bottom there is an air of arrogance and delusion that we are doing well. Failure is accepted from the ownership down to the players.

We will go down this season and we won't come straight back up. Our squad will only be good enough for top 8-10 at best next season in the championship, and we'll still have the highest wage bill.

The thing that bothers me the most is my 6 yo is starting to really get into football, and he's going to live through supporting a shite club for a few years to come, my only hope is that it might be better by the time he's a teenager!

I wonder how many season ticket holders would be prepared to boycott the Arsenal game and not resell their tickets in order to leave huge gaps in the crowd for any tv cameras to see?

I'm definitely considering this, and no way am I letting them resell my seat. But the majority of the fans will want to see arsenal coming to play little Leicester

A good grounding in what a Leicester fan has to deal with!

Gave up my season ticket because of Covid and Anxiety issues, thought I’d miss the KP but looking on it now, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made.

This club has made me feel numb for a good few years now, this season has been an absolute clusterfvck from the start. It’s the final straw for me, something has to change and protests against Arsenal is the start, but we need to keep banging the drum until changes at the top are made.

Until that happens I just can’t be arsed to watch us anymore, why waste two hours having to watch this defence and the likes of Ayew and Reid on the wings. It just brings your mood down and makes you feel depressed.

Luckily Snooker keeps me occupied, and I know it’s extremely difficult to switch off from Leicester City, but to any other posters feeling the same dejected way, just concentrate on other things that you enjoy instead, it will make you feel 10 times better.

For crying out loud, it’s a bad period, why are people acting like we’re completely doomed.

Probably because they're actually attuned to the reality of the situation and not living in blissful ignorance

The current ownership treats us like Customers, not fans. This has been obvious for quite some time, but none more so than the day of our relegation in 2022 when the club advertised the upcoming season's shirt despite it being a last day relegation battle.

However, we fans can turn this back at the owners. Treat the "product" that is Leicester City Football Club as the product that it is, complete shite. Go to the games but DON'T buy the shirts, the merchandise or anything like that. That would be the most effective way to change something at the club.

I would be bothered if the club continued to plummet down the league. But I would not be bothered if many overpaid executives and players left tomorrow.

Tbh honest, the media hype of Premiership football this year is getting nauseating. I think Liverpool have looked good in fairness but in general it's all getting a bit meh.

I found it more entertaining watching Tamworth play Spurs and willing them on! All starting to get a bit samey and dull.

I think even those that feel uncomfortable at shouting/booing would find it easy to have a Saturday off, Arsenal really aren't that great to watch anyway and it's mostly likely going to be depressing for us anyway. I think I'm going to explode if I have to watch Nancyboy Garfunkel Sideshow Bob lamely strolling about again ruffling his hair like he's in a Timotei ad!

the ownership and boardroom structure have conclusively demonstrated an allergy to making good decisions or learning from mistakes. If the captain is purposefully running the ship into rocks, it doesn't matter how good the bosun is or how much effort the crew put into bailing, the ships going down.

Some people still just don’t get it. It’s not about a bad period. A bad period was 2004-2008 culminating in relegation to League 1. However, even then, we just had limited resources following administration and relegation but we couldn’t be accused on not trying as a club. We just needed to go back to come forwards.

This is completely self inflicted. We had the highest starting point in the clubs history. Yes PSR might be fixed to stop clubs like us challenging at the top permanently but it doesn’t make us spend on shit and get relegated. That is because the club is run as badly as it ever has been (possibly the period around Peter Taylor and administration as well).

It’s the lack of positive indication for the future. Great for you if you think we can just rock up and win the Championship against next season just because we are Leicester. Those of us who are realistic, can see where this is going.

You're going to let him support Yanited?

Joking aside kids of his age should be watching a strong prem team. But it's all been pissed up the wall.

I've been going for nearly 50 years and loved the club unconditionally.

But it's become a club I no longer recognise in the last 5 years or so with continued poor decisions and 2 fingers shown to the fans shows that my support is no longer valued.

LCFC has become an exceptionally cruel mistress and one you have to ask the question is it worth the time, effort and considerable cost.

I don't get to many games these days but watch all the games , thank god we are moving in to Golf season time to concentrate on my handicap..

If we have PSR issues still we won’t be risking money in summer in the championship, meaning we will rely on loans and the youth team, get behind them and we may get some of the lcfc spirit back and foxes never quit.

right now though I’ve never felt so detached and far away from that saying.

To me the nail in the coffin was the appointment of RVN. No real experience, it's not what we needed. He hasn't worked with players that think they are premier league players but are not. I can see another wet, damp , soggy day at Oldham on the horizon
