Genuine question,  Who is he, He certainly looks like he would'nt take any crap from the players.

Ant Middleton, wannabe hard man that did the SAS show on channel 4. Got sacked and is now trying his hand at politics. Prize plank if you ask me, would probably sell all of our black players.

I can imagine that our next manager will be the bloke who met with Top prior to Marescas appointment, has a championship promotion on his CV, escaped having a premier league relegation on it and is currently out of work.

Russell Martin?

Appreciate the Kingy sentiment but he's not exactly the authoritative, experienced head to get a tune out of this lot.

Would imagine Faes, Soumare, Winks to name a few would still take the absolute piss like they have done for 2-3 years.

Nothing changes unless the bad apples get the boot in the summer.

If he sorts this defense out then he deserves a knighthood. The only way to sort ours out is with good recruitment and draining the swamp.

I can't see Dyche taking this. We are done for this season, likely getting pummeled by the EFL next year and may well struggle to recruit and compete.  Surely he just bides his time and waits for something better to turn up. Which it will.

We would end up with a back four of Connor Roberts, Ben Mee, Michael Keane and Charlie Taylor

Head bloke on the 'SAS - Who Dares Wins show.  Would love to see him put our slackers through their paces.  He'd boot them into orbit.

I don't know anything about his politics but as a special forces veteran he probably is more than a wannabe hard man.

Anyway, regardless of whether you like him or not, I just want to see Wout Faes running up a hill carrying a telegraph pole whilst being shouted at.

However the clueless c nuts running the club only appoint managers that are right under their noses.

Their shortlist will, firstly, be drawn up after sacking RVN - it always is.

Then it'll be it a case of who is out of work and known to the most insular,  macular degenerated set of executives in English football. So that'll leave us with:

Russell Martin

Sean Dyche

Gary O'Neill

Rafa Benitez.

The latter wouldn't want it. So it'll be O'Neill - who is crap.

I think it’ll be Martin. No inside info. Other than whispers around him when Brendan was struggling in 2023.

I love the man, but the King suggestions are weird to me. It was only a few months a go that he got his first coaching job with the U18's and he's only just started coaching the first team, why thrust him into the spotlight and burden him with an unavoidable relegation?

It’s mad how some want even less experience. Like they’ve not learned from RVN at all.

Thanks for the update, I thought he was a real manager.  He'd fit in well in our Club so. Plenty of planks playing last night.

He does look a bit like Brussel.

Thanks for the update. Aside from the Slackers I don't think our players are nearly fit enough compared to other clubs. That's aside from ours being a buch of pussy's who get pushed over too easily.

King is not manager material. He may turn out to be a very good coach and I hope he does, but anybody suggesting him for manager needs their head examining.

I think Russell Martin would get us out of the championship, but I'd hate every second of him being our manager, and it'd ultimately be pointless because we wouldn't have a prayer of staying up under him.

Wellens has something of the Pearson about him. Northern, a bit abrasive, seems to instill good team spirit, plays positive football. I always like the idea of ex players coming back to manage. I suppose Kelly would be the last one we had? And before than McLintock. Maybe not the best precedent thinking about it...
