Would actually have tracked back.

He only needs a sniff in front of goal too! 4yrs contract incoming. He won't take no for an answer, he's like a dog with a bone.

As for Vestergard. Waste of space. It clearly states he had one off permission and carried on bringing the dog which takes the piss. Based on what we hear, he is just a really bad egg.

It clearly doesn't, it said this was a one off agreement. This one is all a bit of a non story but it's clear there is a bit of needle between Vestergaard and who ever broke the story.  On the face of it he doesn't seem to mind falling out with people.

Telegraph Sport has been told that Vestergaard was given permission to bring his dog by the club on this one occasion because his family in London were away and there was no one to care for it. It is understood that it was considered a “one-off” and solely as a means to help him prepare.

It does pi55 me off that players commute up from London but this isn't unique to LCFC.

Sadly, Vesty's dog got an ACL and had to be put down.

I saw some alpacas recently and they were absolutely vile creatures. I wouldn't want to play football against them.

I'd go further and play Hermansen, BEK and 9 various four legged aggressive beasts. Could you go as far as a buffalo?

We are going down with a whimper so we might as well have a laugh and troll the football league. I wonder how tempted Ruud is just to play 11 kids.

I reserve a significant amount of vitriol for Faes and Winks and Vestergaard. I feel sorry for James Justin. I shouldn't but I do. I'm indifferent towards all the rest of them. I don't even think BEK and Hermansen are all that special in the cold light of day, but maybe I'm expecting too much. In that West Ham game BEK just constantly gave the ball away even trying to play simple passes.

I genuinely don't have anything at all positive to say other than that I hope JV gets his 200 goals and then writes an absolute monster of a book about this absolute shambles.

I even found out recently that Kasper is an absolute prize be11end. Beyond what we all knew before. A proper pr1ck.

I'm going to have some beans on toast because whilst opening the door for a delivery of my dog's food, my dog has eaten my pizza.

Whoever recommended that pizza place in Clarendon Park area - thank you. I went there and it was absolutely lovely. Didn't take the dog. Wonder if Vestergaard wants another dog.

Whilst I'm here and getting all my thoughts in one post, can anyone give me some advice on the following:

1) Is it weird to have 2 duvets on one bed to prevent the wife and I fighting over it and arguing which TOG to go for?

2) If you had a choice between a BMW3 series and a Maserati Ghibli and you were a 41 year old d1ckhead, which would you go for? For context, I don't drive far and have a bad back.

3) Does anyone know anything about Manchester and Sheffield? I will be spending time in both cities, 3 nights in Manc and 2 in Sheff. What should I do? I am going to a music festival called Get Together in Sheffield. I'm 41. Presumably I'll hate it?

4) My doctor keeps telling me my liver something is high; some indicators from blood tests. I've had liver scans and the lady genuinely said its one of the healthiest lives she's seen (I mean, thanks for the compliment, but I did find it a bit weird. She also told me my trainers were cool which I was happier with). Am I potentially dying? What could be wrong with me? Do I need to start thinking about who to give the impressive collection of books I've never read to?

5) Lavender can basically send me straight to sleep. Does this happen to anyone else? Can someone clever explain to me how this could possibly work?

6) Why on earth do staples for standard staplers come in very slightly different sizes? WHY? And how do I work out what staples to actually buy? This annoys me almost as much as screw in vs bayonet bulbs? Why?

7) Is Hawksmoor really awesome? I swear by Goodmans and need to take someone for a lunch in the City next week? Also, which Boisdale is best and is there a better cigar/whisky/wine place in the City I should be trying?

That's all from me. I'm going to enjoy my beans on toast now and then go and watch some non-league football.

Have a think about the Buffalo idea, Ric.

Also my wife really enjoyed the podcast and said 'who is the sensible one?' I said Jordan but I don't know if he's sensible. Can you confirm? It might have been relative to you, though. She enjoys listening to the pod and always asks me 'is this octostacker' guy.

Finally, who is actually behind the constant hburton75897384738 and other random number accounts?

No. His time keeping is appalling

The real question is, if they weren’t training for 4-3-3, what formation were they training for?

The dog would have been the most positive thing in Seagrave in a long time

Arsenal have their own training ground dog too to help with morale

But we can gather that Jannik's hasn't had the same effect

You know when you are so convinced you have heard/seen/read something lol. I had to go back and read it again but I was convinced it had said that! Problem reading stuff with the little one around.

Yeah even so, the article rightly points to a culture of doing as they please and of being unprofessional (in general not just aimed at Vestergard). On Vestergard, it does seem any stories point towards a poor attitude and it shows on the pitch also.

Bit of a non-story really but bringing any attention to the absolute mess that is KPFC is always welcome. The club care more about their image than results.

Although this does add credence to something that we all knew: the players are dickheads.

The dog story is not the main thing here - the more concerning issues are Jannik’s lack of respect for RVN by not shaking his hand, the players having issues with training and tactical changes too late in the week confusing players. All of them are serious problems.

This is only news because we're crap at the moment, journalist scum bags smell blood and then in for the kill.....quelle surprise!  None of this gets reported if the club is a safe mid-table team.  Crap goes on like this at all clubs, and like yanited at the moment every mistep is taken out of context and blown up.  Now we can all lament and say the players don't care, whereas I prefer to say they are s**t, and we deserve to be where we are because of their lack of ability.

Its the way the article is written. Straight after the dog story it writes 'in another incident....', implying the same thing has happened again.

Didn’t Vestergaard turn down a move to Fulham a couple of years ago go because he didn’t want to move his kids out of school? Doesn’t add up if he lives in London.

I wonder what has made the press turn? Just riding the wave or have the club finally lost their media friends too?

Wallace writes a couple of critical articles a season. He wrote the best one during 22/23.

You’re probably right yes.

Im more concerned with the disrespect shown to RVN and Barry-Murphy. This group of players just have no respect

for anyone. Absolutely mercenaries.

Yes they were the reports. Far more likely they would not match the wages he is on here.

The dog thing, for me is a non story. He had permission, a complete non story.

The other stuff on the other hand, we need to get rid of all the staff bar king, and start again.

Makes me want to like Vestegaard a little more. Who are the players that didn’t like the dog, they can go on my shit list.

Also, the report said he was already at training when they arrived. Slackers, he's the only one willing to get ready early.

You can probably train the dog better than these players, would have followed instructions etc. The whole thing is barking mad

Backs up what I've heard from someone who works at Seagrave. Players were asked to stay later for additional coaching sessions on set pieces and many refused to because they don't live locally, those exact 3 of Vesty, Coady and Winks were the names mentioned. That might be why set piece coach Andy Hughes has been sidelined.

The players are ridiculously pampered by Top, I also heard that he has been regularly chartering a private jet to Paris for Soumare as he is apparently feeling homesick. This is the problem, the owner has no understanding of incentives or the value of money, he just gives them whatever they want.
