I refuse to use that absolute bin fire of a website.

Anything of substance here or just the usual meaningless clickbait slop?

Why would he have anything bad to say?

He was plucked from relative obscurity, used the club as a stepping stone, one year later got a dream job that has probably set him and his family up for life regardless if he gets sacked or not.

He said they were good people and they care. Which they may well be.

he didn’t say they were good at their job in the clip I saw.

Funny way of caring

Usual slobber

I don't believe any football manager is really that fond of any club

it's all about the money - they are generally greedy mercenaries

I doubt it. Like all of us there will be some of their former workplaces that they are very fond of, some not so much.

Maresca is explicit in them caring for the club’s employees.

We know that much, that’s why they built them state of the art leisure centre/spa - Training ground.

Most if not all of pay offs in football will have clauses to not speak ill of clubs or their employees etc.

Ive got about 3 myself 🤣! Amongst my tales of utopia it’s a world full of w-anchors, bullies and egos.

Steve Coppell at Crawley said to me very early on “Nobody is your friend in football”…

Rudkin may be very fond of our club, but that doesn't make him any good at his job.

I also seem to remember reading Maresca said he wanted us to employ people to "help" Rudkin with his job when he was here with us.

Easy to say when he’s gone. When he was actually here he had less positive things to say.

All done through mouthpiece Guillem Ballague

Its a weird one this, because I get the impression Enzo wouldn't be saying this if he knew there wasn't such hostility from our fanbase against Top and Rudkin.

Similar to how the club clearly get any new manager to publicly praise the owner and set up of the club. Was so obvious Cooper was told to do so, it was almost like Rudkin had a gun behind his back.

This has similar vibes. Wonder if he's still in contact with Top.

Knows he’s on dodgy ground with Chelsea. Teeing up the return of the Messiah?

He's in a very strong position at Chelsea given their position. Their fans are annoyed but like here....if the dollar is coming in, the club aren't going to care. He will have umpteen European clubs interested in him too.

I believe him. They probably are good people and care about others. This however is possibly why we are in the position we are. Good people doesn't equate to being good in business or good at running a football club. In a world where it's dog eat dog, you want someone ruthless not nice. In business you want someone that can plan ahead and see what's coming, not someone that cares for you. It's good for the employees, but that's about it. That's my take anyway.
