We haven’t ever hired any manager without English experience, they just won’t do it.

Would love to be proved wrong but I don’t think they’ll hire any manager with zero English football experience.

Honestly I just don’t think he’s going to be short of offers. He's made mistakes this season but a lot of that has been largely papered over by the sheer number of big injuries they have had. 
 

I’d snap his hand off as I think he’s a breath of fresh air, straight shooter. But I think the media have always been kind to him, even when they are speculating him being sacked they always seem to defend him because of the injury crisis, I can see him going to a decent sized club in Europe somewhere .

Living in Aus, I have called for Ange at Leicester since his Socceroos days.

 

He’s the culture setter we need, that Levy can’t handle. 

 

Fat chance of it happening though.

They’ve had serial winners in Conte and Mourinho and still flopped! 
 

Sacking Jose before the final Was bizarre though.

 

Anges record everywhere else has been decent. If he went, he’d be worth a look. He isn’t for everyone as he’s very much got that “Australian” stereotypically bloke about him, however he’s more engaging that most reason head coaches we’ve had.

If so I think we should just go for him he has plenty of experience, probably wouldn't be afraid to play youth players either ? 

A common complaint among Everton fans was that Dyche had a strong preference for ageing workhorses over exciting young players. The likes of Ayew, BDCR and Coady would be the first names on the team sheet if he managed us.

I agree Dyche is a million miles away from Pearson, I would say if he is too be compared with any former managers it would be Dave Bassett.

This would be a great appointment imo. He has worked wonders at a club who are also a shambles behind the scenes. He’s young and progressive. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but would have been a better fit than RvN.

I hope not. If he can't motivate players in the prem it's unlikely he can do this in the championship.

 

His tactics and subs are strange too, he has to go I'm afraid. (He can take JR with him too)

I think it’s just a waiting game for both parties, club want to try and save face and wait for as long as possible to sack him, it’s not a great look sacking two managers in a season, so I think they will wait to as late as possible, once relegation is confirmed or off the back of it going toxic at the stadium.  As for Ruud I think he is just waiting for his pay off and I think we will see a few more stories being leaked of him trying to change the mentality, as he seeks to save his tattered reputation.

You may well be right. The only thing that makes me question this a little is the way he’s talking in press conferences. Usually if a manager is asked about his future and he knows he’s leaving, he will give a diplomatic, non-committal answer such as, “I’m too focused on the present to worry about that” or “I’ll sit down with the chairman at the end of the season and decide”, etc. But when Ruud is asked, he will talk very specifically about the young players he intends to bring in and sounds very much like he genuinely expects to still be with us next season. And if you add into the mix that the club is clearly briefing journalists that the plan is for RVN to remain, then I don’t think it can be ruled out.

City are being linked with Rohl in a few articles I've seen recently, but our clowns prevaricate about the bush so much that we'll probably be too late even if he was interested. 😕

Ruud is not gonna walk, not a chance. He wants the sack that’s why he’s seeking assurances from the board about next season even though we’ve got 8 games left.

 

Hes not gonna give up millions £ by resigning no chance.

Get rid of RVN, give it Kingy till the end of the season and get someone in like Rohl in the summer.

 

I'm guessing there must be a relegation clause in RVN contract, probably most costly to sack him now. 
 

There has to be ‘something’ stopping him from being sacked as it’s just insane now.

If he knew he was leaving, why pick a fight with Winks over his commute? What would be the point? Maybe that was about stamping his authority over the squad ahead of next season?
