Yep. Nine sex bots, one crypto 'influencer' and what appear to be three actual followers. Maybe I'm just too jaded and cynical, but I'm not entirely convinced...

I really don’t want dyche it’s all lined up for Danny Rohl but it’s Leicester city so we won’t even go for him. There’s not even a small link/rumours about managers im starting to get worried now is ruud actually staying and having a new complete back room staff 😂

I know Top was star struck but even he must see that as a professional football manager he's a total bag of shit

We could do a lot better than Dyche but saying that we could also do a lot worse.
It’s a typical easy readily available manager to go for if it’s true.
I’m still hopeful it’s someone else.
Last summer it seemed to be certain to be Potter.

You can still get 13/8 on Dyche. Anybody who believes that it's a done deal has the opportunity to fill their boots.

The more I think about it, the more over the moon i’d be if it were Dyche.

We have been such a soft touch for so long, having someone in charge that will turn us into a right bunch of nasty hard bastards I can cope with.

Is that what he did to Everton? Not so sure.

I bet the board will see Dyche as a safe option. Knows the division, can get teams up, can work in difficult environments, doesn't take much poo and will be a safe pair of hands. He won't be afraid of clearing egos out.

Uninspiring, but safe and maybe that's what we need. It won't be pretty but affective.

I'm not a massive fan, but it maybe the right sort of man we need right now. But I can imagine he wont be cheap, he'll demand a decent wage

All you crazy fools thinking we are to good for Shaun dyche 🤣🤣🤣! No actually he is probably to good for us! I honestly think we need exactly someone like him to sort our shower of shit

really?

for him to bring in god awful players we cant shift....also him sort it out, the problems run deeper than we know, he wouldnt be able to fix them

as many have said, going for Dyche just feels like going to Cooper again

Can't help thinking this as well.

The thing you have to remember is , and I might sound a bit entitled here, but for a club like us getting promoted isn't necessarily the tricky bit. Staying up these days is, and dyche is the man who has a track record of doing both.

The track record of not playing youth is concerning, but hopefully he wont have a choice

I'm hoping this is a requirement if he comes that he will have to create a young and talented squad.

Ah well, at least it's not dull at Leicester City with nothing to talk about.

With the squad changes we expect over the summer, isn’t this a good time to change course/style?

Yes, but I don't think we are going to make as many changes as people think. We are terrible at offloading players, and I can't see us getting rid of Winks, Vestergaard, Soumare, Faes, etc. They're all going to be on high wages, and if we can't offload them, we can't have them just sitting on the bench or in Seagrave when we know 3/4 of those at least are good for Championship level.

People bang on about continuity and it’s a fair point, but I don’t really see anyone calling for another possession dominant style of manager. If we want continuity, I thoroughly expect to see someone like Carrick walking through the door.

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised if we somehow end up with him to be honest.

Whatever manager comes in, whether it’s Dyche, Rohl or someone else, I think we as fans thoroughly expect to see a revamp in the midfield and striker areas.

Striker area, I don't think we have any choice. Midfield will depend on the futures of Winks and Ndidi. We should revamp it, but will we...? I'm not confident we have the cash right now with PSR and points deductions swirling.

If it is to be Dyche, I think he has a set of defenders that are well accustomed to his style, with the hope we move a couple on too. The only area of concern if Dyche came in, is how he’d view our wingers.

Would you mind sharing which defenders would be well accustomed to his style? Obviously not Vestergaard or Faes. Coady barely played under him at Everton I think. Nelson's Oxford experience should help him, and could see him being Tarkowski-esque. Maybe Okoli...? My concern is that our defenders generally are not good at defending, which we've all moaned about for ages!

The wingers bit is the biggest red flag for me, along with our need to focus on youth more (I just can't see Monga playing much under him). Assuming Mads and El Khanouss leave this summer (I hope not on the latter, but...) then our wingers are our best assets. We need to make sure they flourish—for our chances of promotion, for potential resale value, and frankly for our own enjoyment again as fans.

We can't bring in a manager who doesn't get the best out of our assets. Maybe Dyche could, but I just can't see it.

With the youth movement in the squad now it would be great to grab Southgate.

Would command respect, track record with youth, good contacts in the game.

Questions over going back to a club role but gotta be a better option than Dyche.

You’d think ruud would have more self respect to walk away to be honest.

He's a few weeks away from a massive pay off from a bunch of people he probably despises. We'd all do the same. Although none of us would manage a football team like him!

Yeah, whilst I think he is utterly useless, so are the people who awarded a contract with no contingency should things get as bad as they did/have.

He was clearly lied to about a number of things (as were other managers) and I can't blame him at all for wanting what he is due.

Maybe Top should offer to go Dutch on the bill?
