Seriously Wilder.....that's bottom of the barrel.  Just go outside of the UK and find someone now if Rohl isn't coming, and you can't get any decent UK based manager.  Gosh Wilder that's depressing

Agree with this.

for those in the know, compilers of infamous “lists” etc, what are realistic out of work foreign options looking like these days?

And some on here don’t want Hassenhuttl.
They should at the very least speak to him.
Definitely have him over Wilder, Dyche and Carrick.

Fully behind Hassenhuttl if we are talking to the likes of Wilder

Wilder might have done it with Sheff Utd in the championship, but look how bad he was at Boro and Watford

and look how off the rails he went towards the end of the season too, if this club gets him then my god i really really hate the people running it even more than i do now

I’d have Hassenhuttl over Dyche, wilder, O’Neill etc. he’s behind Rohl though.

Nah won't play the youngsters, will stick to his disciples, does perform miracles every now and again though.

Would be dead on his feet by Easter though.

didnt FLW say we was getting Martin at one stage too?

also on Wilder, the club want a culture and frankly Wilder isnt that after how incredibly unhinged he was for the last 2/3 months of the championship season

This link is a must watch on Wilder:

https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/s/LGOANqspqb

the part where he gets off the phone and goes back to his game of pool is so David Brent it’s unreal.

i know this was a bit older but the reason it’s only worked at Sheffield for him, is because this old school style is accepted there… it won’t work here he won’t get to dictate everything and it’s so very off putting.  Really really don’t think he’s right for us

* side note, it’s really good insight for why so many deals don’t happen btw

I genuinely think if we don't have a manager in charge by this time next week, in some ways I'd rather just have King announced. Would take him over some of the names mentioned. The longer this goes on the more damage it does to the start of our season. We could literally lose the first month of the season still in transition over playing styles and transfers.

Embarrassing how we're run as a club. Rvn was always getting sacked and we don't seem to ever have had any replacement s in mind

The football Wilder had Sheff Utd playing the season they finished 9th in the Prem was decent tbf with the overlapping centre backs

He is also willing to use youth

Firmly in the no thanks category for me along with the likes of Dyche and O’Neil

Still don’t understand the hype for Rohl especially from people who are bashing Dyche (who has been more successful over a longer period).

I don’t think Rohl would be a bad appointment but I think some people seem to think he’s the next coming and might be very disappointed
