Why would Dyche distance himself? Most likely the possible points deduction situation again :dunno:

PSR screwing us over for the second consecutive pre-season. I really hate modern football. Regret renewing ST at this moment.

Dyche is a straight talker.

If you want him, you give him the job.  He wouldn’t stand for being strung along.

I wonder if it states on the terms and conditions of the application process, 'Must have failed in your last post or have little or no experience of management'

Martin got promoted last time out from a quite similar position and O'Neil kept Bournemouth up against the odds, and probably would've gotten Wolves over the line this year as well. I'm not saying I want either at all by the way. I'd not put it past our board and I'm a lot less confident than you of them making a good decision. I've thought a while it could be O'Neil.

Never give our board benefit of the doubt.

O'Neil will be an utter shambles appointment. Utterly despicable appointment. He lost control at Wolves. A new manager comes in and they pick up points instantly and avoided relegation easily. He even admitted in an interview he couldn't manage the bunch.

Shows they don't know anything about football.

Surely the only thing to do is give it to the big man himself, Andy King.  Then get Chris Powell in with him.

King Powell.

Come on, it's fxxking obvious isn't it?

PSR screwing us over? Or ridiculous contracts and decisions made by the board...

Do you get paid per mention of hassenhuttl?

No I don’t. Hassenhuttl. Hassenhuttl.
He is better than the other names mentioned. I know it’s not difficult.
Has nearly a 40% win rate.
Develops youth.
Despite losing 9 nil twice kept Southampton up for 2 seasons. Even with Vesty and Bertrand playing in defence.
Has a decent record in Europe.
He’s readily available.
They should at least speak to him.

Wolves. He lost the dressing room at Wolves and admitted it. His tactics are rubbish and it's another clear indicator that the club has no leadership quality or direction.

He's poor. He's not the right appointment and won't be able to get the dressing room sorted. He doesn't play the football these players have been brought in to do.

It'll be a shocking appointment.

I got O'Neil at 14/1 last week 🙏🏼

Lucky you. I hope the few quid you earn cushions you well from the turgid depression to come.
