Definitely the right approach re supporting the manager and protesting re those running us.

No I only have his most recent. From when they were below us before new boss came in and turned it round almost instantly. Happy to take a look if you can get them?

worse part of that is, Rohl isnt even going for £1m, its around £600k

No only most recent. From when they are worst than us. Before they turned it round almost instantly. Like what happened at his club before that and they went on to their highest even finish. Fine if you think he is right person to turn this around. I just don’t share that opinion.

How many Championship clubs needed a manager since he last had one, as far as I can tell he wasnt even considered for any.

 

Hes barely even a manager, just a very loud coach who lost control of his team at wolves to the point they were physically fighting on the pitch.

 

This is exactly like the cooper appointment, hes desperate to get back in because no one else wants him, hes cheap as anything because hes so desperate, and talks a good game that they've lapped up.

 

Mind boggling, lets hope it works out but **** me if you are still supporting this board, I honestly dont think you care about the club. The entire process has once again been a sham, if he was the guy they could of appointed him weeks ago.

Well as it appears we only have out of contract managers on the short-list, it’s hard to think otherwise.

I genuinely believe Top wants someone who has the prestige of having worked in the prem previously. It’s all about what names he’s heard of. Pathetic pathetic pathetic

The only way the hierarchy will ever listen to our demands is if we protest and boycott the King Power.... if we carry on like we are they won't bat an eye lid at what we think as supporters.

If we needed to grind out results to survive, he would be alright but where’s the evidence he can make a team play dominating attacking football? It’s a huge experiment. 
 

At least cooper and dyche have shown they can flip the switch when possible. O’Neil is an experiment for what we need to do, it’s lazy, cheap and just an all round bizarre decision given the options available with a little effort or ambition

He'll do alright to start with but his relentless micromanagement of every singke aspect eventually takes its toll on performances and on the players. 

 

First season he turned things around and had us scoring goals and seemed to be paying close attention to lots of small tactical details.

 

Second season we would get walked through at will in midfield and defence. And his set piece defending was the worst in the league. Eventually his constant tinkering with player instructions left us with no real playing identity or mentality to deal with bad situations. That rubbed off on the players and discipline was an all time low. 

 

He also never takes responsibility for poor results or bad behaviour. Then he said that he couldn't get results with the players he had, proved wrong as soon as Pereira came in. He left Wolves with a very bad taste in the mouth. 

 

 

TL:DR - Will do alright to start with and loves taking credit, but lacks a team identity and will shirk responsibility when things inevitably go south.

This is exactly what I think. Same people that waited 2 months to sack Ruud only not to have a manager lined up

Is he actually THAT bad? He did keep Bournemouth in the Premier League in their first season back. Many thought that Scott Parker wouldn't have done that had he stayed, and he's a manager who has just been promoted for a third time, on this occasion with 100 points. Clearly Bournemouth felt that his ceiling wasn't very high and sacked him. Fair play to them, they got a better manager in and were fully vindicated. 

 

His first 6 or 7 months at Wolves were good until it went tits up.

 

I'm not inspired by it at all, but I'm at east willing to entertain the possibility that we might just be overreacting, maybe just a little bit?

Both O’Neil and Wilder would be sacked by Christmas. So, we’re going to waste more money on them, than we would hiring Rohl. We’re the definition of tying yourself in knots.
