I could see us going for Rafa but he would turn us down no doubt about that, but his stock atm isn’t going to get a premier league level club so who knows..

He's 65. Surely he's got better things to do with his time than trying to turn around a basket case Championship club?

it would never happen but Southgate is actually what we need in my opinion. Forget tactics and inspiration speeches, he is excellent at instilling a good culture and we need that more than we ever had. I would also let him have full control over the entire structure.

 

its worth nothing I am not a

massive fan of his football but it would be nice to not concede so many’s, also i know this won’t happen.

Don't shoot the messenger but I've got a VERY well-placed source at the club who's told me we've offered someone the job - needless to say I won't be telling you who it is. Well-liked by some key figures on the board but others not so keen, unless they are. Just passing on what I've heard in a way that's really vague and non-committal, which obviously it needs to be in order to protect my source.

If it were Dyche there would be absolutely no need to be so secretive about it as he's already been widely linked. It's hardly something that could expose a source as everybody is already talking about it...

For the avoidance of doubt, that post was made-up bollocks in the ITK "passing on what I've heard" style that has become so popular

I have it on good authority that it’s going to be Dyche. 
 

Same source told me we were going after Wilf Zaha last summer, two days later we were linked 👍🏻
