Would love to be proved wrong but I just can't see Dyche using Monga/Alves/Evans etc. Looking forward to a season of Bobby Reid & Ayew as defensive wingers

Premier League Managers - Dyche is the manager who has given the fewest minutes to U23s, out of all 69 gaffers who have more than 100 games under their belt. Hodgson isn't far behind.

For the avoidance of doubt, that post was made-up bollocks in the ITK "passing on what I've heard" style that has become so popular

I was about to ridicule you, thank god I saw this 🤣🤣

thats cos Dyche very very rarely promotes the youth players or even givens them a chance, rarely did it at watford, Burnley or everton

yet people want him, even tho theres enough about to show he wont be the right fit what so ever

I actually think Dyche would turn us down. He will pick up a Premier League job around December and not have to deal with the mess we have become.

I suspect we will end up with a very dull appointment that is out of work and grateful to get this opportunity.. i.e Carrick

What we already know of it is Dyche:

The boring, cautious, negative football style

The ceiling of where he could take us

The players the will be his favourites

The journeymen he will bring in

The deadwood that will here when he is gone

If it is Dyche, this could be his last big (ish) job.

Some wanted RVN because he promotes youth, however we have seen little evidence of that until relegation was confirmed then he gave out some charity minutes here and there. I hate this Dyche very rarely promotes youth argument. Can you give me examples of young players that have gone on to better their careers while Dyche was at Watford, Burnley and Everton? The two that I can think of is McNeil and Branthwaite, yes the former he signed, but he progressed both of their careers and made them better players. Dyche has the best credentials to sort out a club in turmoil and has previously worked on a shoestring budget which we need over yet another gamble. IMO Nelson is our best prospect and I think Dyche will have a great impact on his career, simular to Branthwaite.

I've heard from a very well-placed source that we might not hear anything concrete on the managerial front for another three weeks. I can't say the reason why because obviously I need to protect my source, but if you imagine a piggy bank being emptied and only an out-of-circulation penny dropping out, you might get the picture. I can't say any more - I've probably exposed my source too much as it is

Southgate is really interesting. He did a sensational job with England, especially in some of the earlier campaigns when the squad was a bit ropey.

He gets the best out of people and he managed to bring a calmness to cup competitions that we’ve not had in my lifetime. What I did like, was that he’d have a vision and stick to it, whether it was popular or not and more often then not he got it right or at the least got the results.

for a championship club it’s really hard to turn your nose up to someone coming off the back of the runs he had with that England side.

I could see us going for Rafa but he would turn us down no doubt about that, but his stock atm isn’t going to get a premier league level club so who knows..

We should have gone in for rafa last season. How old is he though, he must be very old now

We should just stick with RVN really shouldnt we, as bad as it is. Let's just sort the squad and finances out first.

Convinced Wymesy's "contact" is some old guy down the country club that thinks Sean From Enderby is a reliable source of info lol

Always assumed it's whoever from the club lives in Wymeswold with him lol

Domencio Tedesco???

Started out working with youth players.

Took Schalke to 2nd in the bundesliga

Won German Cup with Leipzig

Wasn't so great internationally but young enough and is charasmatic.

It’s not even laughable anymore - I honestly think we are self sabotaging- I swear to god if you put me and my dad(73 year old life long fan) in charge last summer there is absolutely no way we could have screwed up as badly as we actually have and seem to be continuing to do - someone is completely trolling us up there and seeing what can actually be done if you make as many pathetic decisions as possible - it’s just bonkers ridiculous how many things are currently screwed up - for instance - imagine any other side in history being relegated like a million weeks ago with the worst win % whilst it mattered of any manager EVER and still having the same guy in situ in mid June - Southampton who are in a very similar situation but seem to be run a billion times better got rid of their guy literally the same day they went down

I say it again me and the old man would easily have gotten more points than ruud and some people seriously are saying let’s just keep him - makes me want to be sick in my mouth - making decisions isn’t difficult but we have no leadership- I’m 43 and been going since I was 5 - the old mans been going forever and neither of us have ever felt more disconnected from the club and that’s including during Holloway

things can only get better - surely ???

So there’s no doubt he would turn us down but as he won’t get a PL job he may join us????

Thanks for nailing that. 😏

Southgate is so negative.
He sets out not to lose instead of trying to win matches.
Definitely not someone I’d want.

No chance us getting him.
Would definitely take him though.
