This is really hard to cope with.

 

They are really, really bad.  They look like they don’t train.  So slow and weak physically and really clumsy and just awful on the ball.

 

I mean they really do look like they’re on strike.

 

I don’t know where we go from here but from the second Enzo left, it’s really looked like sabotage.  
 

As a fan, this season has been the shittiest hand we could have been dealt.

 

I went to my first game in 1986 and this is the first time where I genuinely can’t think of anything I like about the club at all.

 

It’s actually quite upsetting.

This is in my opinion the worst team to play at this level since Derby, and in some ways it's even worse because back in Derby's day in this league teams had a lot less mercy. While we're only losing games 2/3-0 that is largely due to energy conservation. Newcastle could've easily had 8/9 tonight but just thought better of it.

 

The Southampton thing is a total freak. We're on 17 points, probably lucky to have even half as many as that, have been second best in I'd say probably all 31 games we've played this season (including Southampton which the officials won us the game). I used to have a bit of a chuckle when people said we could go back to back for relegation but with the arrogance of this board and the delusion that surrounds the club you really do wonder.

When Schar struck the ball there were three Leicester defenders goal side of Murphy (check out 1:11), when he finished it there wasn't a Leicester defender within about 8 yards of him. Not only are we at a disadvantage ability wise but if the players are not prepared to play with 100% effort then we're going to lose game after game.

I stopped bothering to watch TV / streams a couple of months ago, When I'm not at a game (and glad to say my season was done after Man Utd) I just catch the highlights on Reddit / Youtube and listen to the radio.

I've been enjoying Matt Piper's weekly rants about the parlous state of the club. He's been absolutely spot-on with his analysis and is basically saying on live BBC Radio what we've all been saying on here.

Recommend it if any folks have a radio on hand, even if it's just to tune in at full time for his now weekly autopsy.

You just cannot believe the decline. I think if Newcastle had some sort of disaster which wiped out their entire squad, a Chapecoense like incident I don't think they would fall as hard as we have done in the last three years.

 

I've seen some bad fall offs but this is just beyond anything you could believe possible.

Anyone not taking the risk back-to-back relegations seriously need only look at Luton. The foundations of this team are absolutely shit and it wouldn't take much for us things to spiral.

It would be extremely easy to prevent happening. The problem is because we've already had one promotion out of that league, they will just assume it to be a foregone conclusion again and continue their coasting. That would be in-keeping with the behaviour we've seen in the last few years. The difference this time is that we won't have the biggest budget in the leagues history and have a fairly comfortably worse team.

 

We may luck it on an appointment again but I wouldn't even put it past that idiot owner to stick with this bloke.

 

I wouldn't call back to back relegations likely, but I do think if it could happen anywhere, we are right up there. The club absolutely stinks. From top to bottom it's disgusting. Without substantial change at this club, the decline will only continue.

He’s playing with a 38 year old striker and another striker that shouldn’t be anywhere near a football pitch. No wingers and a whole defensive unit that wouldn’t look out of place on a Sunday league game. What the hell does this club and this manager think will happen. We are such a mess and they the club has allowed this to happen with poor ass recruitment.

Its that bad it feels like betting rigging or sabotage by Top. It's that bad. 

 

How can one manager, a bunch of players be so useless. They have premier League experience for God sake! Some have played in Europe and competed. 

 

They don't look coached, they don't lok organised, bothered or have any idea. Ruud just stands there like lemon. 

 

Honestly this club is nose diving quickly and no one seems to know what to do or doesn't want to do anything about it. Same dribble after every game, and they want the fans to back them. 

 

Give us something to back as it seems like there isn't anything left.

Postives : Monga finally came on. Didn't look out of depth and is 15 bloody years old! Just crazy. 

 

Negatives: literally everything else. 

 

Vardy the poor bloke, he's frustrated, BUT also probably at himself. He's just so much slower than was. 

What really pissed me off more than anything was Mads, when he got the ball for a goal kick around 86 mins. Just was so slow like he had all the time in the world. Did those players not know about the 8 game non scoring record? Just f'in go for it. 

Bilal, Facundo, Ricky and Mavs all tried. The rest were quite frankly pathetic. Barnes took the piss out of our players, just shows how far we have fallen. 

 

The other thing that annoyed me was our players clapping Barnes' goal. It's just pathetic! 

 

We're doomed. But at least we got to see Monga. Let's hope he plays him in the remaining games.

Well, that was depressing. I am away for the Liverpool and Southampton games, if any mug wants to buy my ticket. I am not optimistic about beating Ipswich and it wouldn't surprise me to finish on 17 points.

 

Rudd is the worst manager that we have ever had, and I remember Sousa, Allen and Megson. There is no plan, no fitness, no tactics. The players don't know where they are supposed to be or who to pass to. They aren't great players but they are better than this.

 

It's a long time until we are back in the PL, but like those around me, I have renewed my season ticket grudgingly. It's the first time that I have seriously considered not renewing, particularly with the bloody electronic ticketing too.

 

Let's hope for a decent managerial appointment soon.

Need to try and salvage some kind of decent recruitment model or else you're putting any decent manager on a hiding to nothing anyway.

I feel exactly the same. Season ticket cancelled for next season. Will be back when this lot have gone.

You think it can’t get any worse… yet it does. Week after week. There has to be some accountability. But nothing happens. He even picks the same (losing) team again!

 

This club is run like a corporate circus where the only performers are clowns. On the board. On the bench. On the field.

 

And there are still some weirdly misguided fans happy to clap them into the abyss (presumably on the basis that they are ‘proper’ or ‘loyal’ supporters).

 

You reap what you sow. Shame on all of them.
