Whilst the game was about to happen. Policy by the club is that all players attend home games to support the team. Even Fofana did that.

Would this mean that Winks could effectively be on strike? If that’s club policy and he’s refused, and refused to stay one night a week at the training ground also.

This is the most disconnected I've felt with my club in 40+ years, but then l feel a serious disconnect with football in general atm.

Well our big return to the Premier League was short and sweet. Half of me wishes we never got promoted last season, to experience a doss of a season like this. Today strangely was improved performance and maybe even deserved a point.

I honestly don’t see it being an issue. He’s probably done no different from any other game. It’s also probably not the time when emotions are high. 
 

Agree regarding the commuting, but that’s down to the people that have let that happen. If someone’s going to give you a pass, you’re going to take it. Doesn’t matter what walk of life you’re in.
