There is a part if our fanbase that appears to delight in looking for the worst and most cynical aspect. OK Vardy wants to finish with a home match. He could have said nothing and cried off the Bournemouth match and nobody would be any the wiser if he claimed injury or illness

Thats how it should have been handled. It rubs me the wrong way that its being framed as he’s decided to tap out when theres still prize money to play for which we are going down in breach or close to being in breach of financial rules needing every penny we can get. And he’ll still be drawing a wage???

The more I think about it, I actually think he might be planning to be in the away end at Bournemouth and that’s why he’s not wanting to play.

Rebekah Vardy has suddenly been popping up in away ends having not really done that over the last decade and I wonder if it’s almost like her figuring out what it’s like and how it all works for being with him in there at Bournemouth?!

500 and out, nice round number. As is 200.

Out of interest, does the 199 include his goal in the Community Shield? I remember there being a bit of debate about whether that counted a few years back.

Good question wondered about that one myself

Won't be a PL one.

I'm not so sure about that. I think it might be a surprising/shocking move his next club. I have no inside information but don't be surprised if he rocks up at somewhere like Man Utd.

He has 12 goal involvements in the league this season in a really poor team.

Though that interview made me think that he could end up at a Championship team. It all depends on whether the move is financially motivated or he want one last challenge.

Oh please. This is desperate.

Not really and if you took bias and past achievements out of the equation you’d feel the same.

How would you feel if Wout Faes said he was leaving at the end of the season and then decided he didnt want to play the last game

of the season after a poor season?

Jamie is our best ever player and a living legend but that doesnt excuse him downing tools when we are paying him a wage. If he was retiring then fair enough but this absolutely stinks of one eye on the future.

He keeps talking about still playing at the elite level, that’s the Premier League.

I could see him at any club in the Premier League bar Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City and Newcastle.

Such a shame it’s going to end with him playing a season or two for another club in the league above thanks to the clueless board we have.

Words fail me except for what a miserable git you are. Would hate to sit next to you on Sunday.

Okay as i’ve said to other posters take past achievements and bias out of it and ask yourself how would you feel if Wout Faes decided he was leaving at the end of the season and didnt want to play any more games for us despite drawing a wage? Especially after such a shit season. It feels like some of them cant wait to get away quick enough.

Jamies Vardy vs Wout Feas, I think he has maybe a bit more in the bank in terms of what he has achieved for the club. Think its fitting that he finishes at home.

Also non of us know what is happening, maybe is going to a team in the club world cup and we are getting a bit of money because of that. (no matter how minimal)

No counter to any of my legitimate points apart from snark? Proves deep down you know i’m right.
