It's an unusual move, but really, really,  pleased for him. Would have felt sick at the prospect of him playing for another English club.

I absolutely love what Scott McTominay has done in Napoli, but I can absolutely endorse Vardy bagging the winner in the Diego Armando Maradona and giving McTominay the shush gesture.

I wonder if he left it as late as possible in the hope the club might come calling.

Seems odd to leave it this late, clearly if it was his choice to leave he would’ve had options ready to go soon after leaving.

Well it's not something you would openly admit to. I think there was definitely some player input into the decision but we'll probably never know for certain who.

 

Anyway, don't want to sidetrack the thread.

Has been pointed out by an Italian expert on Talks port that Cremonese play Roma in November, where Claudio is on the board. He also said that Cremonese play in a similar style to City in 15/16!

Odd move in terms of club, as Cremonese isn't really that popular. It'll be now, though. lol

 

Wish him well in Lombardy. Certainly offers better weather and better food than Leicester (sorry).

And the missus can shop in nearby Milan.

 

Now for one of those Cremonese away shirts (the home shirt is ugly, can't understand why a club would opt for grey in their colours).
