And don’t go to Wrexham for the love of god. Go overseas and end your career in the sunshine.

I hate to be the Debbie downer, but I do question whether the club had anything to do with the timing of the announcement.. it’s got us all thinking of Vardy instead of our woeful season...

it’s beneficial to Vardy, and if anything increases the angst towards the club and where we are heading.

This goal doesn’t get spoken about often enough, pure class! To do it against Germany too 😮‍💨

It's him in a nutshell though.

How many players would even try to do this ,for their 1st international goal, away in Germany, through the legs of the world's best keeper at the time?

If you weren’t crying already,  wait until you realise the only senior striker at the club is now patson daka

We have been so lucky to have him. There are so many magic moments. Father time waits for no one. Thanks for the memories. Good luck in whatever you choose to do next.

TBH I don’t give a damn about this season anymore. It’s been so dog poo I’ve wasted enough energy on it. Vardy leaving has brought out so many emotions sadness but joy too of all the great memories he has helped provide us. Let’s enjoy these last few games. We need something to cheer and Vardy is providing it. After Ipswich we can go back to slagging the board off for the relegation balls up

It’s been a bad day to have the shtz, the news has left an agonising pit in my stomach that has led to a few close calls. I will always love you Jamie Vardy even if you did make me sht on my toilet seat. 🐐

I wondered this as well.

Unfortunately it’s been like playing with 10 men since Ruud took over, as the tactics have actually exposed him more as the 39 year old he is.

He’s our greatest player and in hindsight, I wish he’d have called it a day last season.

Absolutely gutted, he epitomises what Leicester City is all about, not only have we seen the last of our greatest ever player but today feels like a part of the club has died. Quite possibly one of if not the only person who has kept many of the fanbase connected to the club.

What a player and thanks for the memories

It also feels like a goodbye and curtain closed to one of our great periods - the Pearson-Premier League-FA Cup generation. The final player to leave from that amazing part of our history.

Back into the abyss

And turned Rudiger inside out too!

Saw the news when it broke and it didn't effect me as much as I'd imagined as I suppose I'd already concluded that this would be his last season with us.

Thinking about it tonight, my eyes started to well up a bit. Remember his debut well and never imagined in a million years he'd have the career he has had with us.

Gutted it's gone this way. Completely mismanaged by that tw@t Ruud. Saw a stat on the BBC football site, apparently he's played in 31 of our 33 games this season, no wonder he's looked a shadow of his former self. I'm convinced he'd have scored a lot more this season had been used as an impact sub.

Part of me hopes he gets another crack at the PL. Will be hard watching him play elsewhere but really want him to stick it to Michael Owen and beat his PL tally.

Whatever he goes on to do I wish him well and I'm sure this isn't the last we see of him around the club.

All fans want is for our players to give their best in each and every game.

Jamie Vardy has done this and more, he’s an absolute legend and will deservedly go down as our greatest ever player 👏🏻👏🏻

He's looked totally dejected in many games this season, absolutely no service, the only one chasing back etc, must wonder how his team mates have changed from title winners fighting for each other, to a load of journey men just after the money.

Feels far worse than actually being relegated, gutted.

Jamie Vardy, thanks for everything  🙏

There will be a clause meaning Edouard signs for 5 years at the end of the season. If that helps at all?
