Out of the options linked to us, Rohl would be my choice, so pleased that it looks likely.

Just one thing, can we all agree that the 'Rohl with it'  joke has been done please?

It's going to be his song, so you'd probably best get used to it.

My mate Fat Hands Mike just spotted Danny Rohl browsing used Nintendo Switches at CeX, Beaumont Leys. Apparently he's told the cashier he was thinking about upgrading to a Switch 2 but "only popped in to see how much he could get for his old one"

There’s a chance he might be wearing a Dyche mask as disguise

I don't mind that sung from the stands, but if I have to endure that same pun over and over on here...

It's already starting to give me involuntary eye twitches.

Agreed. That joke’s been Rohled out more times than our defence under Ruud.

Batches is Nuneaton/ Cov language.

Half of my family are from Bedworth, Nuneaton and Rugby, quarter from south Leicestershire and the other quarter from Yorkshire so I rotate between whatever I feel like 😂

He's really pragmatic, but having been moulded in the RB system he typically opts for hard pressing, crash and bash style football, but he really seems to cater the system to the opponent rather than having a rigid philosphy.

I think the main benefit of Rohl is that his football will compliment the strengths of the team far more than other candidates we are linked with, players like Mavididi and Fatawu perfectly fit the role he gave to Gassama (who I wouldn't mind signing if one of those get sold) and players like Monga will be set free by him, I even think with Daka's pace, if we can just get balls into the box for him to finish like he was doing at Salzburg it might actually help him also. He gave something like 8 debuts in the cup/league last season to youth players so he's not afraid to give the young players a try.

Fans would be happy to know that he has also played inverted full backs in the midfield when needed, using Pol Valentin and Marvin Johnson tucked inside in midfield, so if Ricardo stays it's perfect for him, he does like his keepers to play with their feet a lot though so question marks over if Stol can step up.

My friend is a huge Wednesday fan. She told me his football is a little bit Jurgen Klopp, high press, quite aggressive , not pass pass pass boring stuff, but quite good to watch. One watch out she did say is, his defensive record isnt great. 4th worst in the league after the 3 relegated teams? Likes to play out from the back as well

They conceded 3 a lot and over the full season were inconsistent. At the end of the day the home form let them down.

I do feel people are overselling him. I get the excitement of getting a manager from another team but I'm not 100% sold.
