Sorry but if anyone thinks we are keeping BEK you are in for a shock. We need sell anyone remotely sellable so rudkin and co and ensure that cover up and paper over the years of pure negligence.

If we lost Bilal I could understand your hurt, but we have Jakob who is more than good enough for the Championship, it will also allow us to bring in a couple of players which we desperately need.

Doesn’t take much we’ve these clowns but West Ham have clearly played us for the fools we are. 
Fake interest in another keeper and get the valuation down. 
Wouldn’t be surprised if we’re not lumbered with Antonio as part of the deal. 
I know he’s left west ham but could see clueless Rudkin and Top paying them 5m for him.

Actually not too bothered about this . Never really warmed to him, money in . I don’t think he’s a good as we originally thought  Jakub gets the number 1,, helps with PSR  .

My bag of fag packet maths reckons with BEK going for a PSR break even 18m and JJ at 6m and Wilf at 8m, we have balanced the books to pay our exorbitant running costs.And, more or less, no direct replacements needed for each of the departing players. 

 

Two loans in of the quality of the (criminally unused by that Dutch cvnt) Buonanotte, and we'd be good to go.

We’ve got loads of players, what do we need more for?

 

Rather we kept Mads than see more uninspired recruitment to be honest.

We have Stolarczyk and Begovic which is a better pair of goalies than any other team in the championship. Jakub is a better shot stopper than Hermansen but not in the same realm in terms of feet skills.

I got the impression he knew he was off on Sunday. 

 

I think that's why Jacob was p*ssed off in terms of why was Madds playing.  

 

£18m is about half his real value but lets face it we've done even worse deals and apart from the Coady deal (where we saw a naïve Wrexham coming) we are by and large a complete laughing stock

Not bothered in the slightest by this provided the money is reinvested. If done wisely we could strengthen significantly in 2 or 3 areas which would benefit us far more than just keeping Mads.

 

But herein lies the problem with LCFC.  It’ll get spunked on has-beens and drifters.

Well let's see.  Enzos window was largely successful.  Coopers was arse.  We give managers far more say than a lot of clubs, so I guess we'll see if Marti knows how to spot a player.

18 million might seem low. He is worth more than that but ultimately the squad comes first we need to reinvest in a striker and strengthen where we need it most. Lets not pretend Hermansen is perfect, he's a brilliant keeper because he's got a mistake in him as well. Jakub and Begovic are decent options.

I agree with you. Although just becuase we have done deals even worse than this it should not be understated. Even without blue tinted specs, this is another poor deal for us, I’m a very very long line of them. I get we need to sell and I’m not annoyed he has been sold but the price is cheap and we all know it.

Was never going to go for mega money once we got relegated like we lost out when selling madders and barnes who we would have got more for if we stayed up. Trafford will go for more because Burnley are in the prem now he kept a fair few clean sheets last season. And Trafford is English so that probably added 10 mil as well

Helps being a much better goalkeeper too
