Beggars can’t be choosers. Everyone knows how shocking our position is so this was inevitable as soon as they appointed his old coach. Just got to pray we have a decent sell on % included.

Does seem like we been shafted again. Really hope we got some add-ons in there or even a good sell-on clause, because if Mads reach his potential, he will go to one of the greedy ones at some point.

At least we also got him weirdly cheap, so we still got a decent profit and he did look average after his injury.

Surely £25-30 million ish would of been better

let's face it if he now has a great season with West Ham he will instantly be worth 40-50 Million at least

however we must look at the positives and reinvest wisely

£15m/£18m/£20m dependant on source is a decent return on a player who has been here two years and hardly an established top flight footballer, but some people will use any old excuse to moan about their chosen narrative.

Mads still really unproven at Prem level as his season cut short last time round. Yes good with the ball at his feet but average at some of the other aspects of GK in my opinion. Right to cash in and move on.

I find it funny how some aren’t bothered by this and saying he’s nothing special, the guy (when not injured) was proving to be one of the best GK’s in the league if I’m not mistaken. He saved more goals than he should have let in and was outstanding in a number of games for us.

I for one will be sad to see him go, he’ll go on to have one hell of a career in my opinion.

If it’s £20m then that’s decent, would have wanted more but beggars can’t be choosers.

Let’s hope Jakob does the business, if not we have a decent backup in. AB.

I liked his attitude. He was dedicated and professional when the defenders in from of him were useless. He'll be a good signing for West Ham

40 million put him in the top five transfers for goalkeepers. I'm sorry but won't be anywhere near that level in 12 months.

I'm choosing to believe it's mainly just sour grapes because anyone who genuinely thinks he's not an excellent goalkeeper needs their head reading

He’s a really really good keeper but still needs to prove it in the Prem and his injury history has to be a bit of a worry.

Thought we might get £25m but a combination of so many keepers on the market and us going down has dented his price.

Keen to see how Jacub develops going into the season as our number 1

Price is just about right after relegation. As you say with the 2 keepers left should be OK and chance for Bausor to progress in time. Gives club a chance to bolster other areas of the squad

People talking about buying a replacement, have we forgot the plan was always to sell Mads with Jakub taking the no.1 spot and Begovic being the back up?

This was always going to happen and we needed it to happen.

Perfect for potter ball

He’s got some howlers in him when it comes to playing out from the back. Played us into trouble many times, got away with it in the championship

Find it amazing that the club and Rudders have made 300% profit, on a player they sourced and signed……In any other environment that’s a brilliant return, at a time it is sorely needed….players are and always will be, worth what somebody will pay….we’re there any other interested parties….nope…..so that’s what he’s worth. Like Wilf, Vards, he has been great for our club, and goes with credit….sense some momentum/structure that has been sadly lacking……looking forward to Sunday…..

Could just pick up Yvon Mvogo for free.
