They are punching well above their weight and have done for a while and by that I mean, they can either offer Guehi, Mateta etc absurd wages that’ll put them in FFP trouble or sustain the model that has given them the stability that they currently have.

To me it smells of the board saying well you’re not going to be here in the summer why should we spend for you….talk about cut your nose off to spite your face.

I get the, your not going to choose/have input on players for us but the higher he can get you is better for you no? + I’m told several times on here how great clubs like Palace are for getting players in that fit their structure not decided by the manager so if that’s the case does it matter who is manager?

The associations work for the interest of certain big teams and they don't care about the sport. A hard salary cap needs to be implemented now and get rid of these stupid PSR or whatever rules which were invented to slowly kill all low/mid tier clubs. 

If a universal hard salary cap isn't forced in the next 2 years the bubble will burst and tbh I will celebrate the total destruction of this sport.

Sad isn't it, anytime a non big 6 side wins a trophy they're stripped of their assets within 2 years.
