errr its dodgy

well dodgy

but the greek Mafia boss will get away with it even though this is one of the dodgiest deals I have ever seen as this is the 4th player they have signed from that club at "interesting prices"

Florist fans loving it though will never never admit "the big man" i.e. Jabba is a complete dodgy fradulent owner and will bring that club down to its knees

talk of Nuno being sacked during the international break and trying to hook up Jose or Big ange.... please let it be....let it be, let it be, they will all get bvtt fvcked, let it be....

Rules need beefing up.

Having watched a couple of MOTD episodes, I’ve realised I’ve completely lost interest in the Premier League.

VAR is beyond the pale. PSR is shit. Players and their agents are twats. Can’t be bothered.

Join the club. A lot of us watching the games just for some good laughs. The more mistakes, controversial ref/VAR decisions the better. I want this farce to continue and intensify so the whole sport explodes.

Guehi staying at palace

Now reported that player has the hump after being denied move to Liverpool and wont sign a new contract. Palace wanted £55 mill but agreed to let him go for £35 mill then Glasner threatened to walk out if he was sold. The upshot is that Palace will now receive nothing and will have a malcontent at the centre of their defence for the season

Faes was readily available, I don't blame him not signing a new contract its the clubs fault, they will probably agree a deal in January gives time for Palace to get a replacement

By January the player might look at seeing out his contract and receiving a huge signing on fee when he walks in the summer

Glasner is bang out of order if it’s true that he threatened to walk out. Clubs like Crystal Palace can’t afford to lose players like Guehi for nothing which is likely what will happen now anyway.

He could have used some of that money and re-invested it back into squad. What will happen now is he’ll lose Guehi on a free next year, have to spend millions on replacing and have less of a budget to strengthen elsewhere.

he was never signing a new deal

that’s why parish wanted to sell him this summer

he’ll either go for 15/20m in January or on a free as planned next summer

if Glasner really did blackmail parish then we can expect him to leave before this time next year too

Glasner has already turned down new contracts at Palace with interest from Germany.

If I was Parish I'd have sold Guehi on principal as its best for the club, and told Glasner to either sign a new contract or walk.

Wonder how Glasner will act when he wants to leave.

To be fair though, should never have got to deadline day. Palace should have told Liverpool if it doesn't happen before then it doesn't happen.

Between a rock and a hard place

he could have lost his best player and the coach in one fail swoop

Sometimes clubs have coaches lined up in case they lose their own - this perhaps indicates that parish doesn’t have anyone atm.

I reckon that parish uses this as leverage to get glasner to committing to a new deal and both sides agree that 15/20m in January is best for the club

The flipside is he loses both in the summer any way and has £35m less to reinforce.

With them very unlikely to go down he may as well have just bitten the bullet this summer.

He’s just lost eze

they’re in Europe with a decent chance of winning

reckon this season is their chance to win another trophy

they’ll have a decision to make in Jan

Facundo Buonanotte signed with Chelsea on the last day of the transfer window and said he was very happy because it would be his first time playing in the Champions League. Two days later, he was left out of Chelsea's squad for the competition.

Ouch !

Chelsea could have two squads .

Is he one of the new players Nuno didn’t want?

Exactly the same for me. £35m was a fantastic deal for Palace for a player that would clearly like to leave. Glasner will not be at Palace this time next season and neither will Marc Guehi.

They're essentially paying a £35m loan fee for a centre half. Yes he's a very good player and I never like to see mid-table clubs be bullied out of their managers or players because it happened to us, but this was a good deal for Crystal Palace.

If Glasner wasn't (or isn't) willing to give his future for the club I would have sold Guehi and used the money in January or next summer to kick start the rebuild. They're too good to go down and have a lot of good players.
