Apparently it’s some sort of American rule in sports where they have to stop play for a period if there is lightning near by but these breaks do seem very extreme in terms of time taken .


“30-minute rule. Once play has been suspended, wait at least 30 minutes after the last thunder is heard or lightning is witnessed* prior to resuming play”

Game over, no where near the level required, been a shit tournament so far from the bits I have watched.

 

Probably get a bit more interesting in the semis and final.

Yea and I think they are on about expanding it ? doesn't have no where near the same pull as the champions league, atmospheres are probably playing a part just not feeling it.

Inter Miami had no business being there, half the team over 36 and against the best team in Europe.

 

If this is ever going to be taken fully seriously, make sure all the participants deserve to be there.
