I think it is the deep seated social issues and the utilities sold off cheap with no benefit to the country that are the main charges.

For me it's those, plus care in the community. Disastrous for those with serious MH issues that are just discarded into the general public and expected to just "get on with it" only for them to return time and time again because they can't manage life in the community.

But nothing compares to the Marriott I stayed in once for my friend's wedding where there were THREE different sorts of bacon

Any of it Halal?

There's something in that, though these days digital information means that the narrative isn't just limited to the winner. Which can be both a really good and really bad thing.

Even that can be manipulated / fixed can't it.

The mistake I think has been to allow them to be sold to foreign companies which has zero social contract with their customers.

Energie de France.

I can't despise them enough.

By anyone with a big enough audience and an Internet connection yes.

It's a brave new world we live in.

That's not easy, even in the UK.

Eh? Premier Inn and therefore the Beefeater and Brewers Fayre breakfast is a really good buffet variety. We have been starting long trips with one of these for a while now so we’re going to have to find a new plan for travel days now they are all closing permanently next week!

Care in the community is as a concept I am sure a much better solution for many people who in the past would have been residential in an institution, but no doubt we either took it too far or failed to fund the remining support for those more seriously unwell.   Our wonderful NHS is failing here for sure.

JD Vance genuinely looks like botoxed Jimmy Carr these days

Every time he opens his mouth is another nail in the coffin of the idea that he's the dangerously intelligent one of the administration.

Sadly people don’t care.  Thats the reality.  People turning a blind eye to corruption in plain sight globally in politics, business and now sport.  He’ll weasel out of it, a few on camera will resign and he’ll go on some anti establishment rant which his people will lap up.

Sadly agree. Everyone already knows that Farage is allegedly heavily financially backed by Russia and the US, this won't change his voters' minds who don't care about it.

Same way that everyone knows Jenrick allegedly really wants to oust Farage to become Reform leader, just as he allegedly did with Badennoch.

I'm inclined to agree with the above - I'm not convinced it will affect him that much. Are people voting Reform really that bothered about him flaunting electoralrules? I doubt it.

And whilst it changes nothing regarding the legalities, the fact that it was a setup will be heavily leaned on.

"The establishment out to get us..." etc etc
