Awful deal, but devils advocate, he could double his value with a year over there.

Which we won’t benefit from because Stuttgart have an agreement of an €25m option.

The most we'll get is £25m anyway? No?

Tragic deal if true

Well so far we've had different sources claim it's £26mill, £30mill and now a loan with €25mill option.  I can't believe the last one because it makes no sense to have taken that over the Palace deal.  And even if the Palace deal was never really on the table, this figure makes it pointless.

His thinking might be.....

I don't want to play here because I'm too good for the Championship but I'll keep all options open.

I stand a better chance of AFCON with Stuttgart than LCFC

If LCFC get promoted, I'll come back to play in the Prem with the team I'm already contracted with

If they don't, I have an option to stay.

Bit of a win win for him really

£21.5m

Which is basically what we paid for him

Yes it would technically be profit on PSR but we should be getting more than we actually paid for him

Tbf to Rudkin which is not something I’d normally say, he was stuck between a rock and a hard place on this Bilal deal. The shit **** made it clear he wasn’t going to keep playing here but no one was prepared to pay the money, now he’s out the club and not spreading toxic behaviour and he either moves permanently or he’s in the shop window to move elsewhere next summer.

Unless we go up, I’m sure he’ll want to come back and play for us then 🙄

Yep, only sensible option really, if nobody wants to buy him, last thing we want is left with dead wood.

Don’t agree.

He literally would have to play otherwise he’s out for a season.. we keep him and he has to play he’d still be one of the best players in the league giving us more chance of going up. All we get now is them loaning him for probably about £5m and they can decide not to bother next year and if he does do crap we’re left with a worse valued guy next year (if he does great then we don’t even benefit as we’ve already agreed a fee)

this is shit end of story

Is this source any good though? Or is he another chancer like all those that reported the supposed release clause and he's working off some of those numbers?

Seems this is all over the shop at the moment. I’d rather he stay here and semi rot than making nothing on him.

Someone has got to make a stand against want away players.

He was happy to sign the 4 year deal.

Make him turn up every day train.

Make him come to every game.

Not 100% certain to be true (but decent journo) and I see no indication of a loan fee, which there usually would be.

Why not accept a cash bid then? Because his value will not be going up, I can 100% guarantee it. Then we will be stuck with the bag of shit

But by which time he would be down to 2 years on his contract and therefore it would still be £10m profit and no sell on % to Genk as effectively break even on initial deal.

I mean this is Rudkin we are talking about...

No convinced even Jon would get away with no loan fee and paying the wages lol

He’s sky sports in Germany, so he’s a Rob Dorsett equivalent

We weren't in a strong position (which is ultimately the fault of those at the top as a general point) but this is a ridiculous deal for us if it's true.
