dbtcity Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 You’d like to think if anything there’s a hefty loan fee in place as well making the future package (if they sign him permanently) around £30m 🙏🏻 1

I don't want to play here because I'm too good for the Championship but I'll keep all options open. I stand a better chance of AFCON with Stuttgart than LCFC If LCFC get promoted, I'll come back to play in the Prem with the team I'm already contracted with If they don't, I have an option to stay. Bit of a win win for him really I wouldn’t want him back. Similar to Kristiansen, if these average players don’t want to be here, let their egos take them elsewhere.

If his attitude is that bad and he refuses to train or play just keep fining him his wages until he grows up. The only way the deal could be any worse is if we find out we are paying some of his wages whilst on loan. If it turns out to be true it’s a really crap deal and we should have just said no to Stuttgart until at least tomorrow afternoon to see if we could call their bluff or see if anyone else comes in for him. Just when you think JR has got his act together !

Otherwise we're paying money to get more money next summer. **** sake man.

He has made it clear he doesn’t want to be here. If it is a loan, he damn well needs to make sure there’s a permanent move somewhere next summer!
Gav_LCFC14 Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 This doesn't benefit us at all. Genuine amateurs running our football operation

How do we benefit at all from this arrangement? Maybe a loan fee & his wages off the books. Its certainly not ideal but maybe he is refusing to play. I'm not saying it is the case but I assume we are psr compliant & he comes back next year when we are hopefully in the prem a better player. All maybes of course.

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 A loan is ridiculous. Especially if it's not a mandatory buy clause. He doesn't want to be here, I don't want to see him in our shirt again potentially next season.
moore_94 Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 Stuttgart have sold over £100m this summer so far and could potentially get another big sale from Stiller to Man Utd or Madrid They are loaded with cash
Fox-LMA Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 The tweet made no mention of a loan fee. There would definitely be one & they are usually seven figures. So factor that into €25m it may not be a bad deal. All hypothetical of course. I can't see a club like this being able or willing to afford that kind of money without Champions League qualification. Even when considering the Woltemade deal. See you next year Bilal... 1
JimJams Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 If the loan fee makes up the difference to the £30mill we expected then it's not bad. I suppose it'd mean we pay out less in sell on fee as well with the purchase price being lower. I'm fxxking grasping here... 1
FoxinNotts Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 If this is true, I guess one positive we can take from the situation, is that we must now be ok from a PSR point of view. 1
South Shire Fox Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 Thats a disgrace if thats true. What possible good to us is a loan?
