I haven't said he's crap but he is a mercenary without loyalty or respect for anybody but number one. I see that as a strength in a pro footballer a player that wears and respects the shirt and honours his contract. 

 

The only positive thing that's come out of him is a bit of profit. Him, Isak and Wissa should be ashamed of the way they've conducted themselves.

I'm still finding it a bit odd that he's going and after all this social media nonsense.


We're clearly a worse team without him and although we must've done some planning for this over the last few weeks, I don't expect we'll get a replacement. Output numbers aside the lad has talent and it is a shame he's leaving as he was genuinely exciting to watch.

 

That said, it is decent money and turning profit on a player after 1 year is no bad thing. Not to mention that the last thing we need is another unhappy player taking a decent wedge and not fully applying himself.

A loan this season would suggest we are PSR compliant and therefore saving the fee for next year.  Assuming we’ve driven the structure that is…
