Posters here keep saying the quality of other clubs in the EFL isn't great, but look at our likely team. Defence is perhaps the worst set up in years, we have no effective forwards, and no quality in midfield once Bilal gets transferred out. I know we've got a couple of decent wingers and some promising youngsters that "may" step up, but is that going to be enough?

Seriously though, our starting defence would already be one of the best in the league, even with how much we hate most of them

Just remember how good players like Vestergaard and Faes looked last time

do you not remember just how much better than the rest of the league we were last time? the majority of the Championship is incredibly poor in comparison to even the worst PL sides.

Its the silence that has people going mad but the squad itself as currently constituted is one of the strongest in the league, even with Daka as its lead striker

Vardy's gone. KDH too. We don't know if Fatawu is going to be at the same level after his injury. And players like Winks, N'Didi and Justin are unlikely to shine as before (if they stay).  I know we've got some promising youngsters, but that may not be enough.

I think next season we will be good for automatic promotion - just depends on how many points we get deducted.

Southampton and Ipswich aren’t as good as us. Ipswich have lost Delap and Tuanzebe, and looks like Cajuste won’t be back either.

A decent manager could fix things. No guarantee though. We've been shit since February 2024 and some of that was at this level.

yeah true we lost those 2 but Bilal will rip most teams in this league a new arsehole, McAteer was one of our best players that season until he did his hamstring Alves looked good for a terrible Cardiff side, Nelson was brilliant for Oxford & Souttar was one of the best CBs in the league for Sheffield United last season

So true. It really is a disgust and hatred for many of them lol

It even irritates me that if Faes and Vestergaard do stay, they will likely be just as dominant as they were last time in the league

Hoping Okoli and a New CB do the business for us, so we can get rid of those toxic farts.

Forgot about these two. I think Okoli could be dominant at this level too. Get rid of Faes and Vestergaard.

Our main worry will be the players piss weak mentality

Spent last season bending over so cant see them being up for it now they have all had wage cuts

All these supercomputers saying we're finishing Top 6 don't know the club very well.

Owners financially on the brink of ruin back home, departures of our best players extremely likely, managerless, spectre of PSR points deductions, need I go on?

Club keeps this up we won't be even dreaming of a top half finish. Not saying we will do a Luton, but it could be another painful season ahead.

I don’t think we are going up this season either. In fact, I don’t think we will even be in the race. Mid table at best

Depends on what happens with the manager and transfers in/out. Currently, compared to when we won the Championship las time: -

Goalkeepers: better, just because Ward has left. Hermansen will probably leave, but Stolarcyk is good enough, so we will need 2 back ups.

Fullbacks: same as last time, but 2 years older, plus we have Coulibaly, but no idea how good he is.

Centre Back: same as last time, but Nelson is back from his loan spell and Oxford fans think he will play for England! Plus Okoli

Midfield: same as last time except we have BEK instead of KDH. Hopefully get rid of some of the deadwood, keep BEK and add someone who actually runs.

Wingers: same starters as before, but Alves has gained experience and Monga and Evans should get more minutes.

Striker: the GOAT is gome, but at least we still have Ayew and Daka! :(

Overall, no reason to be too pessimistic, but certainly reason to be concerned about who will come in.

Depending on any points deduction and what that does psychologically I’m optimistic but would feel better when I know who our DM might be if not Wilf and who the cutting edge up front will be. Defensively the likes of Thomas and Nelson should be fine.

If we lose someone on deadline day without replacing them or get points deducted it’ll be back to negativity though and a track record of dubious mentality at the club when a reaction is required.

Southampton in decent shape - have had Will Still in place early. Have sellable assets.

Ipswich could be good too but risk of losing McKenna?

Sheffield Utd got 90 pts and should have gone up

Wildcards of Birmingham (111pts and momentum from last season) and Wrexham.

We are the least settled of this lot. Obviously question marks over manager and squad is currently quite unbalanced, plus a host of players on final year of contract and no real investment in the club

but there’s too many variables between now and end of the window but I don’t think Top 2 is a safe bet

Just hoping the Billy Big Balls of the squad who think they are far to superior to be playing in the championship are nipped in the bud by the new incoming manager whoever it may be, we have a squad that can compete with anyone in this league the new manager needs to put across the fact that “ if you think you’re to big to play in this league YOUR’E NOT !)

You are the same players who got us into this schitt and you are the going to be the same players that need to get us out of this schitt and if you can’t do that you can go and train with the kids or sod right off  !

We have the players that can get us out of this league what with the academy lads who played a part last season and the ones that can step into the first team and show the senior players what a bit of pride wearing the Foxes shirt is, I don’t know if we can get out of this league this season or next but what I do know is that the EFL are going to make it difficult on us getting back to the EPL next season with the incoming points deduction so whoever pulls on that shirt and enters the field of play both starting and sub need to show some balls and get us out of this Schitty little league !

I do think a fair few overestimate Vestergaard's "dominance" at this level.. He was booked 13/14 times the last time we were in the division in a role that was borderline tailor-made for him..

Now he'll be another year older, another year slower, in a role that might not be completely aligned to his strengths.. Not letting him walk last summer was absolute madness..

No your not !
Shambles of a club that is struggling to put 1 foot in front of the other.
Any glimmer of hope that the club will be run to any respectable standard on and off the awful pitch has disappeared long ago, along with its owner.
Confidence is shot amongst most of the fans who are realists.
A club that is full of anxiety and desperation and other club’s hungry players that want success & the big time will see that and smell blood when they come to the KP next season.
