As much as he was crap when he got the ball today, thought the quality of pass into him was also woeful. Everything overhit, under hit and not found quick enough.

Said it before… and will say it again. He is too predictable. Lays the ball back far too often. When not doing this, cuts infield and hits speculative shots. Frustratingly, very rarely takes a player on the outside. He has the ability but seems to lack confidence at the moment. He was poor in my opinion today.

It really doesn't help there are no other threats in the forward areas to move opposition around or even take players away from Abdul

Simply terrible today and could have been sent off for a deliberate handball as he was already booked. He's a  one trick pony and when that doesn't work he doesn't seem to offer anything very much.

Sadly still on of our best players over the season to date.

He was much harder to defend last time in the Championship because he was equally as dangerous putting the ball across with his right as he was with his left

 

Now he just seems obsessed with cutting in on his left and if it isn’t on he gives up

Every single time would get to the edge of the 18yrd box and cut in. Would refuse to drive down the line or do anything else.

One of his worst days today. 

 

I know the instruction may have been for him to cut inside and cross, but to not even mix it up a little bit and take his man on once was disappointing. 

 

The free kick was disgusting too. Way too far out to try a shot from there. Also made some weird decisions to switch the ball to their right back too many occasions.

He was doubled up on like usual today but there was one moment in the first half where we managed for once to move the ball really quickly over to him for him to have a one on one.

 

For some reason he smashed it straight back over to Mavadidi's side where nearly all the players were still, straight over everyone's heads and put it straight out of play.

Surely he isn’t being coached to not even think about going on the outside. Didn’t try once in 90 minutes today. Looked absolutely hopeless.

Looked dreadful today but Okoli wasn't helping matters. They both contributed to a terrible right hand sand. 

 

At least 5 times I saw Okoli with the ball, looking at Fatawu, looking at Okoli, as Watford closed in. No ball over the top, through ball or anything. Just pass to each other, cut inside. Nothing.
