Remember when we knew what we were doing saturday afternoons?  

 

Friday night games are the worst.  Long week at work.  Mad rush in Friday traffic and Saturdays empty.......unless you count going fosse park as entertainment ......which i do not!!

 

Tv really is ruining things for the actual match going fans.

I know it's not popular but this is what happens when people are so insistent on keeping the outdated, nonsensical 3pm blackout rule. 

 

Games moved to every spot than the window they can't broadcast in.

 

If we try to modernise and bring ourselves into the 21st century this might stop. The Disney view that "well they shouldn't be showing so many games in the first place" is fantasy land. You want a decent, consistent level of 3pms in this EFL era? Scrap the blackout, let them show games live at 3pm.

It changed the year after we got promoted - we will do well to get ten 3pms this season. No exaggeration.

Leeds had 7 3pms last season.

I did think, when looking through our fixtures, our first home game at 3pm on a Saturday is (currently) in October.

 

It's going to get to the point where people can't make it regular to games anymore.

Feeling a lot better about not renewing my ST this season. Was beginning to have pangs of regret. I have work in London on Sat mornings so Fri night and 12.30 Sat kick offs were a real headache.

Just about live with Friday nights, although most Friday’s I just want to go straight home after work and relax. 
 

Saturday lunchtime just messes up your day, can’t do too much in the morning, by the time you get home the afternoon the day is mostly gone.

Nonsense even if the 3 pm was removed the TV will still schedule Fridays, Mondays and other times they want to maximize viewer in armchairs to hell with live attendees. However you have to blame the EFL and the Clubs in the rush for money they agreed to this.

Even beyond us though, look at some of the dog shit that's ended up on TV. Swansea v Watford lol who on earth outside of their fanbases is that bothered?

Home games not too bad. Aways aren't great for travelling fans.

 

I know we are popular with broadcasters but I also think they have put a lot early because our October- early November matches aren't too appealing. Birmingham, Coventry and West Brom rather than Swansea, Portsmouth and Blackburn seem obvious choices.
