Of course, there is always the possibility that everyone is over reacting and it's actually a benevolent investment from this charming young music star wannabe

To me I agree it just seems as if KP are of the mindset about other clubs and their conduct 'if we cant beat them, join them' which is a poor mindset to have. It just really sets a worrying tone for what is to come.

None of us really know what the financial situation in the club is really, but when your owner is worth £3.5 billion it odes make you wonder what's going on.

People seem to be forgetting we dodged a fine off the Gambling Commission last year for BC Game. With a similar sponsor, they all be after us again and with more of an opportunity to punish as repeat offenders.

Can people stop talking about Due diligence when it comes to these deals FFS.

The club know full well what they are doing, they aren't genuinely thinking they are getting into a deal with a great company.

They benefit from this, it is quite possibly just a big money washing operation.

They do not give a **** about reputation of these businesses they have set-up themselves.

In my case it is tongue in cheek, as a result of numerous LCFC statements referring to the DD process wrt BC.GAME.

You and I can see through it but there are some people who will hang on to and believe every bit of nonsense this club comes out with.

'Analysis of this has and will continue to form part of our ongoing due diligence, which is supported by a globally established independent service provider.'

Yet the club shop will be rammed with people buying it.

You have to remember the number of fans on here or X in uproar is just a small number compared to those who don't look this deeply into things

Sadly a big portion of our fan base will continue to defend the indefensible.

When is the next FAB @Foxes_Trust? Please make sure this is tabled as an agenda item, I understand the club will not discuss commercials but they should be presented with the facts and should outline their DD process (yes I know there won't be any).

Already discussed internally. Trust has always been anti-gambling sponsor and were critical even pre-new blood on this topic. I'd honestly say it's an area where the board completely agree. Further backed up by the results of the survey on BC Game.

Shirt sales way down last season though in comparison to previous years regardless of the echo chamber we have here.

Foxes Pride are absolutely delighted with the announcement of this illustrious sponsor.

Nothing more important than a good relationship with the overmasters, not even their own actual cause.

I’m not seeing what you’re seeing

From my perspective, K bet is simply a conduit to pass funds from king power/the family into the football club.  The rules only allow a certain amount to be invested by owners. This arrangement gets around that. Effectively, Top gives £15m to Kbet and they conveniently sponsor us to the tune of 15m.  My question is why would the 15m sent through by the family be questionable in its origins?

King Power don’t have £15M to give anyone.

If they had money ready to invest in the club, but can’t because of PSR, then they would been pushing ahead with the stadium expansion…or at least some of it.

They are clearly skint and I suspect this deal has multiple layers of shadiness going on.

Sponsor probably did contribute to that and the ethics related to the shit sponsor, but there's probably other factors like the £70/£80 cost for the shirt.

Seems it's still 50/50 on who the company is, which for me tells its own story.

Will know more once it's announced and then the real work can begin on ensuring this sponsor doesn't last the season.

Don't get me wrong, any sponsor of this kind is extremely poor, but seeing the word 'Bet' actually on one of our shirts killed a bit of me.

You can tell the people shrugging this off or burying their head in the sand don’t realise how serious the ramifications could be on this. We are already on the football authorities naughty list, the last thing we need is to be sponsored by a shell company which screams money laundering. If the general public have been able to find this amount of information out in a few hours what do you think a proper investigation would unearth?

Josimar have already hinted that theres a big 'part 2' coming on this group of 'companies' later this year.

I was also interviewed by an investigative journalist from the BBC last season who is trying to gather enough to do a panorama.

It's big...

If you can't beat them join them. Football is broken and unfortunately deals like this are required

We've taken the extremely cheap option of this tactic then. Cheap financially anyway, not morally or when it comes to being punished.

They’ve turned us into a completely soulless club

It just goes with our soulless stadium, soulless supporter base, soulless matchday experience, soulless owners and soulless sport.

Have you tried recently? They have had a bit of a switch around as far as who runs it.

Can't wait to see who they use as a 'director' or 'intemediary' for the announcement press release/video.

Cucacao is notorious for organised crime and in particular, money laundering. Most of the money is believed to be from the drugs trade but they’ve also been recently forced to put in tougher legislation to stop the financing of terrorism via the same networks
