The idea that we could start off a third season in which we have a potential points deduction hanging over our heads, with three FREE points thanks to the EFL's scheduling and another club's chaos, might be the most Leicester City thing I've ever see. 

 

Please, PLEASE Lord, let this happen.

Possibly but can you imagine the outrage from some quarters if we not only get 3 free points but also manage to avoid a points deduction again?

The EFL would genuinely be happy to see Wednesday go out of business if it meant they could give us a points deduction so they will go to any lengths they can to not give us the 3 points by default!

I posted the below in the King Power out thread last night.

 

Is there not an opportunity here to unite with the Sheffield Wednesday fans on 10th August in front of the Sky TV cameras by showing total disdain for our respective board(s)/owner(s)? This could be done with banners and 90 minutes of chanting and protests against those who are running both clubs into the ground.

 

I realise that Wednesday are currently in a worse situation than us, and their fans are likely to be much more vociferous against Chansiri than our "happy clappers" will be against KP/Top/Rudkin/Whelan, but if our fans don't do something to try to stop the ever increasing downward spiral we're in then it won't be too long before we are in the same situation as them.

 

Enough is enough and change is needed now. King Power out!

Anybody that refers to loyal fans who spend hard earned money to watch the Club as "happy clappers" is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

I think most would see that situation as an attempt to help a desperate Sheff. Wed survive, rather than the EPL treating us with contempt.

This is so sad to read man. How can any club be in this mess. Checks on owners should happen every year, not just once and then they're seen as okay to buy a club.

No. They can disqualify as they did with Reading's previous owner but cannot forcibly remove them.

Their Championship season is due to kick off on 10 August, but the club has a first-team squad of only 14 players, with more set to depart.
