They would have a youth team, I guess they would have to play? It's very sad, I loved watching their team with Waddle in 90's.  Have friends and family that are fans too.

Disgrace what that bloke is doing to that club.

It's unbelievable that it's allowed to happen.

They can’t even use their North Stand now deemed unsafe due to the required repairs not being made. And this is after their tw@t of an owner used a Thai firm to assess the stand, this company had neither the qualifications or experience in the UK to do so - their assessment rejected but the owner was willing for fans to continue to use the stand. You have to feel for their fans.

Sheffield wednesday seem to be one of those clubs that get one bad owner after another....such potential there too.

PSR is built to stop this kind of things is it not?

Hahahahahha!  There are probably many out there who genuinely think that and think the rules could be even tougher to stop a Chansiri. He might even be used as an excuse to do so. There appears to be little to stop a complete rogue charlatan from taking over a club and killing it.  I supposed PSR stopped him buying players for 30 million + , but where as our owners liked to splash the cash, it seems that was never an objective for Chansiri.

Surely even we couldn't lose this opening fixture. We'll be up against players who are too young to get the photo ID for a five knuckle shuffle before the game.

re ; tickets not being sold for the away end... Sheffield are usually a well followed club and it's a relatively short trip. How many are they likely to bring?

This has the feel of that Hull game in 16/17, opening day.

They'll have a bunch of kids going out with fearless naivety, nothing to lose and everything to prove.

He made a point of paying the U21’s no matter what, when everyone else wasn’t paid. So they’ll have a line up.
