I suppose though, to entertain the idea, it all depends what the actual fee would be for JJ.  If it's the £9mill that's been touted in the rumour mill then I wouldn't take a single one of them because none of them are worth anywhere near that and I'd rather we had the money to spend (in theory!).

 

If Leeds aren't really interested for that money and you're looking at half that kind of figure then Aaronson simply for the value proposition.  But I don't think I'd want any of the players they'd let go of.

Brendan Aaronson would actually work in this system with Bilal playing deeper to receive the ball as the number “8”.

Would require a bully in the base of the midfield though who’s comfortable receiving the ball.

If he was remotely close to a move then in the club’s current financial situation, jeopardising receiving millions of pounds in almost pure PSR profit to play a full-back in one game (in which he was poor and then got injured) might be an idea but it’s not a good idea.

I’m the scheme of things the idea of prioritising 3 points after two games to millions of pounds of income helping us to presumably meet PSR or invest into the rest of the squad seems a little weird. Aluko would have been fine.

Am I missing something here? I can't see how missing out on a fee for him would mean us having to sell both Fatawu and Bilal .
