I wouldn't bet on the Wilf deal until it's fully sined off.

 

Have we not had issues with Turkish and Italian clubs in recent years.

 

All looks done then they want to half the price or make it a loan. Then can't afford the fee agreed.

Wilf already photoed in a Besiktas shirt (lovely kit as well, Wilf looks sharp).

We've had plenty of issues with Turkish clubs, but now they have some cash behind them they are playing less games. So I'm expecting wild to go through quite smoothly.

 

If the club had concerns then they shouldn't be turning down bids from other clubs.

 

This money is hopefully being turned around  and spent on Kone straight away. A young target man could be just what we need.

We very obviously need a striker and he's a very logical target. It's a very believable rumour yet we've not had Percy or Tanner or someone chime in and even say he's a target, have we? 

 

Because we don't have ITKs and haven't done for years. Tanner etc live off the scraps that Anthony feeds them.

I'm sure we still have ITK's. But as we know nothing is straight forward in football. In the past even those that get good info get abused when it goes wrong.

 

LBH why would you pass on stuff to just get abused when for hundreds of reasons it goes tit's up.

 

This place (ie the users) has done itself no favours over the years with all it's ITK's

I don't think Jake Evans has any course of complaint, he's very young and he hasn't looked like he's banging on the door of the first team like Monga could claim. Whatever we do in the striker transfer market shouldn't matter to Evans, if and when he is good enough for regular first team action here he'll force his chance but he's not at that level yet.

I thought he was good in the minutes offered to him despite playing out of position, apart from the most recent friendly.

 

Monga was our best player in pre season, if that's the level required to make it into the first team then we're going to be letting go a lot of good enough academy players over the coming years

465 replies on this thread and there's been no credible link, we really are looking for something to talk about, we're not even getting rumours, let alone signings! 

 

I'm getting the feeling that Begovic may be the only signing this summer, I'm fine with that other than the striker position.

They’ll likely be dropping the frontend costs to generate more interest in the hope they’ll get an better overall deal from perhaps what we’ve put on the table
