Moyes has a good history of getting players from the Championship so wouldn't surprise me.

He'd cost more than 40m. Hes too good for Everton

Everton fan I know says they are scouting him and had 3 at  the game yesterday. Hopefully not true and he is winding me up, but he has a lad in their academy who told him this

We are ****ed if we lose the likes of Bilal, Fatawu or Mavididi before the window closes

It’s ok -  we’ll be able to afford to get BDCR back from the airport

on a serious note, we don’t get more than £25m max for him if someone really does want him.  I’d have thought anyone would be better waiting until January to see how he goes post injury.

Fine sell him and BEK and we can look forward to many years in this League:thumbup:

If this is allowed to happen, then this Club is indeed in a really bad way.

Can’t see Everton paying what he’s worth, but equally with Fudkin in charge I can see us asking for that either. Decent offer comes in we’ll sell. Same with Bilal.

Wouldn't write us off if it happened, but the season would be a lot tougher because we wouldn’t get anyone in.

Then our apathetic fanbase will depart.. which might be the only benefit.

Not to sound despondent but I can see Bilal and Fatawu going along with Winks and nobody coming in.

Sort of thing this charlatan running the club would do.

Imgaine if did wow!!

Didnt realise scouts tell academy players of all people who the club are trying to sign..

I imagine half the Prem is scouting him as hes probably the best player in the league

Keep fatawu winks bek in this league we will smash the league ( points deduction not taking into account) without them 3 honestly think with a big points deduction we could get relegated

I don't think this would happen but I really wouldn't bet against it. The worst part is that you really couldn't count on our fans to adequately express how unacceptable this would be. They would still turn up and meekly clap as we are driven down the same road as Sheffield Wednesday.

In a way I don't really care. It's the way we're heading anyway and year on year the standards are slipping. Might as well get used to what this owner and his cronies wants us to be and not hold back real talent from flourishing elsewhere

No one is taking a £35 Million + chance on someone who has just returned from a year out ACL injury. They can scout him all they want but too much risk for most clubs that are keeping an eye on their psr numbers.

Agreed more likely to be a risk come January unless clubs feel there is a chance to capitalise on our financial position and get him on the cheap

Percy confirms Everton's interest in Fatawu in his article.

Just don't see it happening now, the board have a massive PR problem and letting go of our most popular and best player in this window would be wild.

I seriously doubt Everton can afford Fatawu having bought KDH and agreed to cover Grealish’s wages plus his loan fee. I think we’ll ask for north of £30m and that will be that.

Having said that, IF we do get an offer and it is acceptable I would demand Jack Harrison part of the deal. He would do the job at this level. I don’t back Macateer to replace Fatawu.
