Thing is though - if this were the plan then why wouldn't the club just communicate it? The large majority of our fanbase would agree this is now the correct course of action (not ignoring how we got in this mess in the first place) but to communicate nothing is a lose lose situation for them surely.

I'm beginning to think the club is autistic and has ADHD.

Let's not be too hard on them they're probably struggling right now.

They won't communicate anything as in doing so it's like they admit they've fckd up. The whole world knows they have yet they cant accept it or take any responsibility or accountability.

Thing is, if they did and the fans could see a clear plan, the toxic atmosphere would subside a little bit.

I've already made my feelings clear about this board and the way the club is being run but if they came out with a plan to sort the club out then I would feel a little better. Biggest problem is though that we don't actually have any competent people in the boardroom to oversee a club reset.

My eight-year-old has been diagnosed with both conditions but I assure you there would be a vast improvement if he were appointed Director of Communications tomorrow. I mean you'd probably have to endure detailed press releases about the electronics used in the turnstiles and tweets about the type of laundry liquid used to wash the players' kits, but you'd get to hear the important stuff too...

The most compelling, not to say convincing,  job application I've seen for years!

Financial consolidation and stability.

A 2 or 3 year stint in the Championship, whilst we develop young talent and scout

hungry players with potential.Get promoted

With a young and improving squad low cost with no carried over Financial issues.

Big contracts going forwards only for

retention of proven players.

That's the plan.

Its going to be 10+ years in the Championship at least. I wouldn't be surprised if this club is never in the top flight again. We are so far behind even teams like Brentford, and good few in the championship to. Id say we are at best ran at League 1 levels.

Too many external factors to make these bold statements. You may be correct, but Top could sell up, we get new owners and investors and are back on track within 3 years. Look at Birmingham, they are moving in the right direction after being in L1 last year. We are still an attractive proposition to potential ambitious owners as we have a good recent history.

Need those big wage earners out of the club. None of them are worth their wages and are killing us when it comes to PSR, which then results in not being able to recruit any quality.

Seems a bit much. Id say if we dont scramble it this year It'll be 3-5 years before we start to yoyo again.

I looks like the club have held their ground, thankfully, but with a week left will someone come in with the 'cant turn that down' price point.

That's my take, I think we only sell Fatawu if it's a crazy offer that we can't turn down.

Same. Deadline day and knowing us, we won't have planned for the scenario at all.

Think I'd prefer it to the opposite scenario where he has a stinker for us and nobody wants him!

This, this and this.  We have a bloated squad, we need to get rid of many, before we can bring anymore in.  How on earth this has managed to happen who knows?  How, many fullbacks do we have?  We really didn't need to sign Coulibaly either, the man kept firmly in a cupboard at Seagrave.
