Ah. The most unreliable of sources disagrees with what everyone else is saying 😂

Agreed, it does make smile how some folk react and take it as gospel, when in reality I doubt any of us will ever truly know the make up of any transfer deal, particularly when so many are now undisclosed.

So blantanly never played a real game of 11 a side in your life then, just been watching it  from the stands. As being a keeper myself, he was absloute quailty keeper, his  feet work and reflex  saves were another level, just didnt have defensive support last season. No wonder west ham have him on a 5 year contract,  if hes goes again there cashing in.

Being a keeper yourself, how did you rate his ability to command his box at corners, free kicks and when crosses were sent in, then? Having played at a decent standard myself, I never felt that he had the physical stature to impose himself and this was a definite area of weakness.

No thank you post from him? Seems odd.

He'll do one - give him a few days.

People are so impatient and quick to judge nowadays.

It’s £15M by the sounds of it and that is terrible business.

We were under no pressure to sell as he’s on low wages and the PSR cutoff has passed. Someone of his quality and his age is £25M minimum.

I’m seeing a lot of:

“this allows us to rebuild”

”drain the swamp”

”good business, we have Jakub”

“Great for PSR”

Genuinely, in my opinion, these comments are doing nothing but defend king power, JR and Top. In reality we have sold our best keeper, if not best player, for next to nothing.

People looking around at positives, in reality we all know there none really, its a poor deal and does nothing positive to push us forward. Yes,  PSR is a horror show yes but our board know the rules, we should never be in a position where the only players we can sell are our best ones for less than their value. Everyone talking about draining the swamp (Player and board), unfortunately those mistakes that make it a swamp are still here and will continue to drag us down.

15-18mill is poor and anyone who defends it, is in my opinion, defending the board and therefore all of the decisions they have made along the way to get us into this mess. Overpaying and underselling is our biggest problems and deals like this see it continue.

For the record, if have been happy with 25mill, so it not a lot more, but they all add up.

I totally agree with this.

We sold because we had to, everyone knew that and took advantage (just as we would).

It's a great deal for West Ham, and a poor one for us (unless we know he hasn't/won't fully recover from op)

Ipswich have proved that just because you get relegated does not mean you have to settle for low fees... We do because we are poorly run and have made bad decisions.

This source is actually very reliable unlike Jacobs...

Terrible deal for us if true, I don't think it would even be £10m profit after Brondby's cut

Yes this is what I heard was the fee when the deal with was done. Tbh £15m is on par of what we should come to expect from the incompetent Rudkin.

We should always preface his name with the word ‘incompetent’ because that what he is and always will be, incompetent.

As news like this leaks, alongside starting the season as “big club Leicester” without a kit sponsor because we tried to get another questionable one in and you are very much “Top in”, and you’re reading this, you my friend are a ****ing moron.

It's more than that, it's £18m up front.

It remains to be seen how good Mads actually is now.

Judged on the second half of last season, he was actually mediocre. The injury derailed his form.

If he can get back to his best then it's a snip at £15m. I don't think he's ever going to be an elite keeper though.

It's obvious what's happening here.

West Ham are deliberately briefing this so they look like strong negotiators and helps them for other purchases, while other, more neutral sources have given a higher figure.

Sadly, some of our fans are too moronic, negative or just want to get a reaction from clickbait so spread this stuff.

Propaganda from both sides. The truth tends to lie in between in all honesty, like more deals that are done.

Goalkeepers aren’t exactly where football terms splurge high transfer fees.

At £18m he’d be the 11th more expensive goalkeeping transfer ever.

1. Kepa Arrizabalaga - £70m

2. Alisson Becker - £63m

3. Gianluigi Buffon - £47m

4. Andra Onana - £45m

5. Ederson- £35m

6. Jasper Cillessen - £30m

7. Thibaut Courtois - £30m

8. Manuel Neuer - £26m

9. Jordan Pickford - £24m

10. Aaron Ramsdale - £24m

11. Mads Hermansen - £18m
12. Emiliano Martanez - £17m

I am taking this £15m fee with a massive pinch of salt, remember the Ayoze Perez deal, Newcastle happy for the £30m fee to be out in the public domain and yet the up front fee we paid was closer to £16m

Truth is West Ham will want to look like they have played a blinder, so happy to brief sources fee was lower than what is being reported. Truth is not sure we will ever truly know what the final fee, add ons etc end up.

Why you worshipping a mardy arse like this guy. Yea he was good but nothing amazing, he was better with the ball at his feet than Jakob but I don't feel too upset his gone and have faith in our new number 1. I’ve played and watched plenty of football and I make my own mind up on what I see. Last season he gave the kop so many dirty looks because the fans moaned at him because he let in a soft goal or cheaply gave the ball away.

There’s much better servants and players for our club who deserve defending, not this guy mate.

When you get relegated your best players get poached.

Difficult to get top prices when it’s public knowledge you financially need to sell.
