11th highest ever fee for a goalkeeper is respectable business

I mean, I don’t think he’ll ever be better than 8 of the goalkeepers on the list, or Martinez to be honest.

Onana and Ramsdale are the odd choices. Albeit, they were both in good form when they made those moves.

English tax also overinflated their value.

When you get relegated your best players get poached.

Difficult to get top prices when it’s public knowledge you financially need to sell.

Are the other relegated teams in same boat then?

Ipswich lost Delap.

Southampton have lost quite a few and Dibbing will go as well I’d imagine.

The joys of getting relegated and stacking the wage bill. In a way, Ipswich should be better shape if they don’t get promoted. Ourselves and Southampton would need to cut deeper again if we didn’t.

They don’t have a well documented points deduction hanging over them to be fair.

We’re a joke of a club but if the £18m fee is right, based on Mads’ performance pre and post injury, it’s probably the right fee.

I hate Top and Rudkin as much as the next guy, but there are no obvious signs that they’re going anywhere, so I’m trying to just care less about everything LCFC.

I’m with you 100%, it’s worth noting also that our points deduction self inflicted. The reason they don’t have one is becuase they are being better ran then we are.

Totally agree.

We’re a shambles of a club. When you take the emotions out of it, you have to laugh at how “businessmen” have the lack of ability like Top and Rudkin appear to have.

That list is missing a few. According to Transfermarkt he's the 30th highest fee

Agreed. Nowhere near the 11th. People talking nonsense as copium.

It's bad enough we've got Finners using this word regularly, please don't add to it! :Dlol

Think he could've held on for a club with more potential, but a good move for him nevertheless- if playing in the Capital was what he wanted/needed to do.

Selling for 18m is better than not selling him and he sees out contract.  Sad many cant see that.

We have caused ourselves so many issues refusing to accept bids for players over the years.
