Ayew -> Daka

Ayew can’t lead the line, we’d be lucky to finish top half, he cant even run

Winks -> Skipp or Soumare both shite

Apart from pace, what does Daka offer?

The longer this game goes on the deeper Sheff Weds are going to drop. Ayew will be the better option, atleast he can hold up and has better quality in the 18 yard box

People saying Soumare was good for this league, what has he done?

Mav quiet too.

Hes shite mate. Just deluded fans who think we will walk the league because our players cost more then the oppositions

I miss Maresca.

I remember a lot of our fans saying maresca would be sacked in November by Chelsea, grass isn’t always greener, never gunna make it in the premier league etc

hes gone on to win the club World Cup and is a nomination for the best coach of the year.

how wrong our fanbase is time and time again 😂

We seem to be putting a lot into this fullback box crashing strategy, not sure JJ and Thomas can make it work. Wingers are staying wide and coming deep, giving them options for a 1-2 pass with the advanced fullback to get past their defenders, but in reality it just gives them loads of ground to cover if they want to try a take-on. If Fatawu stays in his defender's pocket we've got no chance, need a Plan B...

If Wednedsay haven't had a full preseason, they should be running out of juice this half.

I live in hope.

:scarf:

We’re playing at walking pace anyway so wouldn’t worry about their fitness, they’ll be fine.

Or just sub Soumare and play Ayew just behind Daka.

No one would notice the space in midfield

Hopefully the fcukin wake up call Cifuentes might need with these players and board. Do not give those a chance to do something they've proven to be a heinous waste of space at. Bomb a load of these out the squad and make a stance.

They got a lucky deflection, granted we haven't been great but its the first game of the season under a new manager.

I'd agree with you if we wasn't playing Sheffield wednesdays 4th team.

Pressing, which is a large part our identity under this manager.

Winks on

Don't mind that. He pissed this league last time and both Soumare and Skipp are about as useful as Anne Frank's drum kit.

Rather see Monga and BEK behind Ayew with just winks holding, get the two midfielders off, maybe with JJ or Thomas, or chowdhury coming on for Thomas to step in to support winks.

Peeps saying Daka, the guy is  pretty much a waste of space, no different to Soumare etc.,

We needed a new striker and the club have not got one in.

All far too comfortable, why would they want to leave if an offer came in.
