Extremely obvious narrow loss.

Changed my mind. More I think about it the more I think 2/3-0.

I think people look back at Enzo first few games with blue tint glasses, we could have lost to Coventry, Cardiff, Rotherham and Huddersfield in the opening games.

Think once the window closes and we have who we have we will settle.

We were nowhere near this bad, and we weren't great.

This has got us winning 2-1 and the players reacting like they’ve just beat Real Madrid written all over it.

Going for Mavididi shushing the away end before Ayew scores from a yard out and poses like Cantona after his chip. We then lose the next 3 in a row.

Kind of true actually. We always win at the most damaging times in the long run. A win here would probably be enough for our board to think it's another clocked off week and we're all OK.

Recency bias maybe but I reckon Preston was easily as bad as/probably worse than any performance under Enzo. There were definitely a number of games that season where we looked unimaginative with the ball and vulnerable without it but even during the dodgy spell from Feb-April I don't think we were ever collectively and individually as wretched as we were on Saturday.

Preston in the context of everything was a new low for me. They'll finish anywhere from 14th-23rd this season and they've beaten us at a canter.

Even Plymouth, Millwall, Bristol City etc... really bad days but a little bit unfortunate in all of them. We were lucky Saturday was only 2-1.

If that's our actual level and not an off day, make no mistake we are in a relegation battle. But the other two games give you no confidence either.

No idea about the score, although I expect a tougher game than Preston & a defeat. However whatever happens I see no reaction from the players if we do score. They don't care & don't celebrate goals, just see Huddersfield & Ipswich

Their delusions of grandeur will get the better of them.

There's no way we're in a relegation battle. That implies we've got some fight.  Last season showed that we have nothing in our team to be proud of right now.

lol true.

I'm not quite convinced it'll quite come to that but after Saturday I don't think it can be completely discounted. It's a poor team with weaknesses throughout it. That a side like Preston can expose it so simply. I keep saying it I think extremely little of us at the minute and even I thought we'd just win games like that on quality alone. It was alarmingly bad.

Just remember to back the lads no matter what! We are far better when we are united! No negativity and applaud them off whatever the result, they are trying their best!

I actually feel sorry for most of the players.  A lot of them are stuck with the club too.

Yep must be utterly wretched for them earning all that money, spending most of the week at a luxury spa and then having a tit about on a Saturday. Horrible stuff.

If you think about it and we really are selling off players before the transfer ends, we could field this team.

Stolarkzyk

Thomas

Okoli

Vestergaard

Choudhury

Skipp

Soumare

Monga

Mavididi

McAteer

Ayew

….. that’ll be your first team squad with the likes of Fatawu, El Khannous, Winks and Justin gone.

And some fans would still think this could get promoted.

Yes, it isn’t happening.

I changed my prediction after last weekend.

Major reality check for me.

Get on relegation @ 7/1 while it's still on offer, £100 stake will ease the pain next May and buy you a holiday to recover.
