Be shocked if BEK is still here by Saturday.

Who steps in in his absence because I very much doubt we have any new player to replace him...

I think my Gran could replace the BEK against Preston

Can't wait to see that knob Nathan Jones dropping to his knees and celebrating like he's singlehandedly won the world cup, in front of the Sky Cameras when Charlton score their winner.

That's gonna be fun.

I think Marti has seen what the players have now and quickly needs to get tough.

If Ricky’s fit right back or midfield

Much as don’t like him Wout he’s been the most solid CH, so him & Nelson & JJ was much better @ LB

Midfield = Winks, maybe Choudry just because Soumare has been so poor & lazy & Skipp’s just abysmal, BEK

Fatawu, probably Daka, coz Ayew needs to learn to be a team player, Stephy

Monga to come on & Ayew, Alves & Evans

Can’t say that’s an encouraging line up & Im going 😩

             Stolarczyk

Aluko - Nelson - Okoli - Thomas

         Ricardo - Skipp

McAteer - Ayew - Monga

                 Daka

Is he really unlikable in general?

Just seems like a very, sometimes too much, enthusiastic person.

I wouldn't say enthusiastic, more on edge or on something lol.  It looks to me like has had one too many energy drinks before the game and his body can't cope with it. He's no Vards in that respect. Odd bloke.

That said...

If he's fit yes, unequivocally. Maybe another weeks training he will be but remains to be seen.

It would be typical of this squad if they were to raise their game and go on to win the game as a direct statement to our baying fans. In fact I can see it happening.

Ricardo (if fit Hamza if not)

Okoli

Nelson

JJ (if fit Thomas if not)

Winks

Fatawu

BEK (if here Monga if not)

Mavididi

Daka (if no new striker signed in time)

Tactically I would have the RB inverting into CM and Page bombing on. Leftback to make inside runs high to create space for Stephy. This is what it looks like we’ve tried to do but can’t with Jannik at the back.

We need to get back to playing Justin on the left from the start, he's by far the best option there and he and Monga seemed to have some sort of connection

Yep and when paired with Ricardo on the other side they used to switch sometimes mid game to give the opposing wingers a bit more to think about as they can play both sides.

Charlton are organised, motivated, at home, well-drilled and physical.

They'll absolutely bum us.

I have no interest in this season.

If Marti can have a proper talk to some of these willy pullers and get them playing again my team would be

                    Stolarczyk

James   - Nelson   - Okoli - Thomas

            Ricardo - Winks

Fatawu -      BEK       - Monga

                    Ayew

Why drop Fatawu? He wasn’t effective on Saturday but he was one of the few who genuinely tried. You’ve included Ayew, who was awful.

He would’ve been effective if JJ had actually offered support and created an overlap or Ayew bothered to pass.

My worry is the manager didn’t pick up on this the first 5 times he got stopped and adapt.  It was obvious to all watching a simple 1-2 and Fatawu would’ve been clear in behind evertime.

Let’s see if the manager does the same again or has actually worked on tactics.  I’m not holding my breath.

About 5 or 6 of our players would cup their ears to the away end after beating newly promoted Charlton 2-1. Arses.
