Let’s take a bit of context into the fact he’s just coming back fresh off an ACL injury.

Yeah true - Like I said, hopefully he improves when the match fitness comes.

He is a (no option) loan signing though, and we need him to make an impact - If he needs a season to get back up to full speed (understandable given how long he's been out for), it's not really much good for us is it?

Decent for Burnley I guess.

Well good for us if he helps get us up? Did you miss that bit.

Not much use if he needs to be spend a lot of this season getting up to speed though is it.

Just providing match-minutes for someone else's player then aren't we.

Just a discussion point anyway - Hopefully that was clear enough for you this time.

Don't think it will take a lot of the season, it will be a bit more than two 20 mins cameo's though.

Will only have 2 years left on his contract next summer, no reason we can't try and buy him if Burnley come down and we go up

He was excellent for a spell after his goal, which was a very good finish. Hopefully he can kick on for us. One of the few bright sparks that game despite fading in the second half like everyone else.

Along with Carranza and James thought he was took off too soon and we could get another 15mins out of them. We all knew we’d be utterly toothless after that.

He was completely gassed, and James was too. Thought he was great first half but clear there is a way to go with his fitness.

Significant injury according to Cifuentes.

Watch that run he did early in the game after the pass to and from Abdul, where Ayew was in the middle of nowhere. Kid must be wondering why he bothered.

Always a risk taking someone with his injury record. Painful.

You have to laugh really.

We knew that we'd lose Buonanotte and that El Khannouss was absolutely desperate to move yet decided to wait until deadline day to sign someone that's barely jogged for 18 months.

People will still refuse to blame Aiyawatt and Rudkin though. Must be Cifuentes' fault for daring to play our only number 10.

Was always a risk, I'm surprised we've gone this long without Abdul picking up another injury after last year. If he also picks up a muscle injury we're done for lol

I know it's only Jamal Lewis but Preston have moved very quickly to sign him on a two month deal to cover injuries.

Meanwhile we've got League 2 Luke and Hitlers poster boy attempting to be left backs while Sergio Reguillon and Renan Lodi sit around twiddling their thumbs

I know i'll get pelters but there's zero reason the Ox shouldn't be playing football right now, we have no No.10.... why not chuck him a similar 2 month deal.

We just have zero proactive nature about us, depressing.

I know these aren't long term solutions.... but we need short term fixes!

I'll give you one reason.

His knees are held together with chewing gum and his first whiff of Seagrave will put him in A and E.
