Appeal it? It's a red every day of the week. If the shoe was on the other foot you'd want a red!

How? It wasn't high. He's clearly gone for the ball and mistimed it. Games well and truly gone if that's a red. Ref has made a decision based on the Oxford players reactions

It’s 100% the reaction from the players that convinced the ref. If everyone’s calm, that’s just a yellow all day

Thought it was a yellow card offence for getting in the refs face these days? Clearly not. Although I've no idea who this little wankstain of a ref is, looks about 12 years old and has probably been promoted from Sunday league given the utter state of refereeing in this country.

Feel extremely sorry for the lad, he's sat out a year through injury and is desperate to impress. Yes it was rash, but it's not a red for me. Support him, he'll be quality fo rus.

They said on commentary at the start that the ref had booked a ridiculous amount of players in his previous game.

Hw then gave Soumare a really harsh yellow within 5 mins.

So he's card happy and it was a harsh red, but the players should know this and shouldn't go in for rash challenges and give him an excuse.

Just typical really.

We loan someone in very late in the window after already missing over 10% of the season.

Hes now looking at a 2-3 game ban and so that’s at least 7 of the 46 league games he’s missing already.

Pathetic send him back

Looking back at it maybe the red was a bit harsh but there was absolutely no reason to go in like that could have played the ball without going to ground.

do you not want to send him back now? Will you give him another 20mins?

He’s gone in quickly but it’s not exactly dangerous. Ricardo and Fatawu have made worse tackles for us this season and stayed on the pitch.

If he’s fit, he’ll play. He’s a good player and just needs to get himself going.

Bad decision by the ref. Even worse from Ramsey. Creates a bit of an uphill struggle in terms of how he's viewed here. Especially with how patient our fans are with players.

It is what it is. Young player trying to impress, probably frustrated with his performance (rightly so), went in slightly rashly for a challenge and gave the ref a decision to make and the Oxford clan forced his hand. He’ll learn. Move on!

A harsh red card I felt, unfortunately we didn’t see much of him today. He is a good player and I think with winks in the middle he will be much better than what we did see today. Seemed to be a challenge out of frustration more than anything else
