He showed enough in those couple games before his hamstring that i think it's worth sticking by him depending on the severity of his injury.

We're threadbare in midfield as it is.

Possibly but he's not completed a full 90 minutes for us yet. Doesn't matter if we are threadbare if we have a player on the books, costing us money, who basically can't play and, if he's injured, can't train properly either then if there is an option to send him back to Burnley then we should probably take it. If he's done the same hamstring again that is 2 to 6 weeks out depending on the severity. So possibly mid February before he could play and then he's not going to be match fit.

The only reason to persist with this loan are

  • We think his talent mitigates the risk
    • Thus far nothing suggests this is the case
  • We are unable to terminate the loan
    • Fearful, but bloody well hope not.
  • We like moaning
    • This one has legs

Love the bullet points - good work sir.

Getting the niggling injuries you see after a big one, we’ve seen the same with Ricardo. Warm up process wasn’t right last night at all. Wouldn’t rule him out, would just say this is the problem when you “rely on” a player after having such a bad injury.

Deffo send him back if terms allow. Can't be having a player taking up unnecessary wages to sit on the bench for best part of 2 months. And then only play a handful of times thereafter. Need a regular starter like James.

Should be looking at a striker and LB as priorities.

Should be sending him back if we can (we probably can’t)

I think he was a late loan signing

hence we were probably pushed into agreeing to things we didn’t want to

if there is a return clause then he’ll be on his way back or already gone.

The injury and him having also played for Burnley this season also means they won’t be interested in the discussion as he can’t go anywhere else either

Looks like another wonderful signing by Rudkin 😳😳😳

As much as I dislike Rudkin, this was actually a good signing and worth the risk imo.

The fact we have so little wriggle room for comings and goings in the first place is the problem. There will always be some signings that don't work out, no matter how well the club is being run.

It's a concern that he only lasted 5 minutes after returning though.

The medical dept must have picked up he was not fit

The player should take some responsibility here. He was ready to go on after his warm up, then he didn't get on for a while so waiting around in the cold. He knows hes come back from a hamstring injury, he should know to keep his body and his hammies warm whilst waiting.

Given his horrific injury he had, it would be breathtaking if we did not demand that should he suffer injuries this season that he could go back in January.

This is Leicester we're talking about, isn't it?

He wasn't stood around for that long. Players warm up and then go get changed for 10/15mins pre game

I feel sorry him. It’s tough when you have injury upon injury, and Hamstrings are so common in players coming back from an ACL.

I think if he was going to get sent back we’d have heard about it by now.

Here’s hoping he can have a proper recovery and offer us something for a positive end to the season.
