fazzyfox Posted 21 January Posted 21 January Go up to Victoria park on a Sunday morning and you’ll find someone with better heart, speed, stamina, determination and ball retention than the current mob. Okay, they might have four legs and a tail but a strategic shave and the s**t refs in this league might not notice . 2
Md9 Posted 21 January Posted 21 January Regardless who we need I doubt we will get any one other than a panic deadline day 39 year old goalkeeper that will never play a game for us 1
Spiritwalker Posted 22 January Posted 22 January I would argue we need full backs as much as a striker. 1
DJW1 Posted 22 January Posted 22 January If JJ´s injury is going to keep him out for more than a month, they will HAVE to sign a CF and midfielder, to prevent relegation. Two new fullbacks would be ideal also. Unfortunately, I think the club is going to spend nothing, cross its fingers and hope we don´t go down 1

kingfox Posted 23 January Posted 23 January Hmm, surely we have to tap into the loan market as we have three slots available for a matchday squad. Can’t see any permanent signings, unless we can nab a couple that are out of contract in the summer for a couple of million.

JimJams Posted 23 January Posted 23 January You'd imagine he's not being given the option of a left back while we still have Thomas and VK under contract beyond the summer. Whereas strikers, 10's and even CM we don't have much left come NEXT season. Forgetting utilising the Yoot. 1

kingfox Posted 23 January Posted 23 January Enzo Bardeli. Goalscoring/creative midfielder. 7 goals, 4 assists so far this season. Out of contract in the summer. Wasserman client 👀 2

LeePhilpottsBaldSpot Posted 25 January Posted 25 January I'm pretty sure we're in a transfer embargo. We should be focusing all efforts on getting more out of all the expensive assets we have. That effort would almost certainly be improved by hiring a different manager. If we can't afford to sack Marti just do a job swap with the U21 or women's manager.
Leicesterpool Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Is Bannan retiring or out of contract, is it worth taking him till the end of the season.

scinnell Posted 25 January Posted 25 January 36 year old Barry Bannan, jeez how the mighty have fallen. But yes sadly this will be an improvement on our options.

Just give him a contract till May... got nowt too lose. If we ever decided to go 4-3-3 with everyone fit, imagine having James, Skipp and Bannan.. that's way better than Choudhury. EastAnglianFox Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Now we’ve had the Percy bomb and Marti has seemingly gone, genuinely if we are to get just a couple of loans in who is that now down to?

I do agree mate, it just shows have far we have fallen when we previously signed Cambiasso and Tielemans in that position.
